LOVE DOGS. TRAVEL TOO MUCH TO OWN.
I'VE OWNED TWO DOGS OVER THE PAST 20 YEARS. MY FIRST DOG, SOPHIE, A TERRIER, LIVED A HAPPY 14 YEARS WITH ME AND MY FAMILY. I THEN TRIED TO RESCUE A DOG BUT FOUND THAT AS SOMEONE WHO RECENTLY RETIRED, WITH MY FAMILY OUT OF THE HOUSE (AND STATE), I'VE BEEN TRAVELING A TON AND COULDN'T PROVIDE A GOOD HOME FOR THE RESCUE DOG (RILEY). I FOUND A GOOD HOME FOR RILEY AND BEGAN LOOKING INTO TEMPORARY OWNERSHIP. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT SPECIAL SKILLS, BUT I LOVE DOGS AND I ENJOY LONG WALKS SO YOUR DOG WILL GET TONS OF EXERCISE, LOVE AND AFFECTION. I FEEL THAT TAKING CARE OF DOGS WILL GIVE ME THE LOVE I'M LOOKING FOR WITHOUT THE COMMITMENT OF DOG OWNERSHIP.

Joy was great with our dog! She was easy to schedule with and communicate with. We knew our dog was safe in her care. She sent us pictures a few times throughout our trip which was much appreciated.
Great dog sitter!! We would highly recommend Joy for your dog. We already have plans to use her again!
Joy is a sweet, conscientious person with a long history of caring for dogs. After her last dog passed away she was unable to get a new dog because of the amount of travel she does, but she really misses having a dog and would be the perfect person to entrust your pooch with for a few days or weeks when you need to be away from home.
Joy is one of the most loving people I know! She's a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. Her love for the dogs she's had was great, and she made sure that they were taken care of the best way possible when she travelled. I think Joy will be wonderful as a dog sitter!!

I am involved with different activities but home more than away at the present. I get up early so that isn't an issue in walking early rising dogs!

I can place a stake outside if your dog likes to sit in the sun. I live in a neighborhood with lots of friendly dogs so I need to know if your dog doesn't like other dogs!

I LOVE PLAYING FETCH, GOING TO PARKS, AND STROLLING THE NEIGHBORHOODS. MY PREVIOUS DOG LOVED PLAYING SOCCER SO I WOULD ENJOY A FUN GAME OF SOCCER TOO, IF YOUR DOG IS UP FOR IT.
