Pet care experience
Extra caring, loving, soft spoken
I believe in the 3 A’s when caring for dogs. Affection, Attention, and Affirmations. I truly love dogs and enjoy their company immensely. I find they respond best to lots of attention (time spent and getting exercise), affection (loving pets, belly rubs, ear scratches), and affirmations (positive verbal feedback). I take my job very seriously and strive to do the very best I can to meet the needs of the client (both dog and pet parent). I am sensitive to any of your particular needs or wants and am more than happy to accommodate them. I grew up with dogs and cats so I have a lot of experience around them. I hope you give me a chance to care for your dog! Thank you!

Ratings and reviews
Joy was great with my dog and flexible with pickup and dropoff times, which I appreciated. My dog had a blast there!

Joy is a wonderful human and takes great care of our girl, Izzy. She treats every dog as if they were her own family, caters to their needs, and ensures the stay is fun for everyone. I highly recommend her!
Joy did such a great job taking care of Penny who can be a bit anxious especially at new places. Joy was very communicative, caring, and took extra care to make sure Penny was happy and safe and to make us feel at ease. We would recommend her to anyone who asked!

Joy is great! She goes out of her way to make sure more nervous pups are comfortable. She responds quickly to messages and is very accommodating!

Joy was fantastic with Jobs. I had to reschedule a couple of times and she was always incredibly responsive, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. When I arrived at her apartment with Jobs and texted that I was outside, she came out immediately. She was attentive, caring, and gave me a great feeling right away. Jobs clearly had a great time with her, and I felt very comfortable leaving him in her care. I’d absolutely book with her again!

Always the best!

Schedule
I am pretty flexible but usually require 1-2 hours of flexibility with arrival times. Mornings and afternoons is when I usually do walks and drop ins. If I’m boarding I am available to walk or let out dogs every 2-4 hours.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in backyard. Dogs get lots of attention and potty breaks. I live near a large dog park and live on a not busy street.
A typical day
I love parks, grassy areas, but ultimately I do whatever the owner tells me they or their dog prefer. Dogs can play in our fenced in backyard. My kids like to play with the dogs inside and out back.

- Dogs need to get along with other dogs in order to be boarded. If it’s a walk, that is not necessary but I do need to be informed so I can avoid dogs on walks. Please let me know if you dog tends to be reactive on leash towards dogs or kids or any adults. Let me know if I need to be extra careful and watchful for them eating or picking things up on the ground, if they like to lunge after squirrels/rabbits/mice etc.
