As an eighteen-year-old taking a gap year before moving away for college, saving money and enjoying my time in my hometown are my two biggest priorities. Luckily for me, nothing checks those two boxes like spending time with animals. Aside from my part-time job, my schedule is open for you and your pets!

I would appreciate knowing about any allergies in advance, as well as any habits to be look out for/ be aware of. It is also nice to see if I should avoid socializing with other dogs on walks.
A typical day
Some fun activities that I like to incorporate into my pet-watching are long walks, playing fetch or tug-of-war with toys, and practicing tricks. Of course, I'll save time for cuddling and unwinding, as well!

Pet care experience
Aside from caring for and being responsible for my now-elderly cat and six-year-old dog, I have pet-sat for my friends and family many times in the past. Juggling my sister's cat, seven dogs, and pet pig (yes, you read that all right) can be quite the handful, but I truly believe that it has been a great experience for me. I can't wait to meet your furry friends- and I hope to hear from you soon!

River had another great walk with Joy! They covered a lot of ground and Joy sent a couple update photos. Thanks again for taking such great care of our pup!
Joy has been wonderful for our young black lab, River! Our meet and greet went great, and she asked good questions. She’s willing to take River on longer adventures/walks, which we appreciate. She had her first walk with River today and our pup was so happy (and tired!) when we got home. Thanks so much for your help, Joy:)
Joy is great with dogs! She is responsible and trustworthy and you’re dog would be happy and safe with her! She has been very wonderful.
