Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced backyard. I also know how to properly crate a dog even a stubborn one. When I chose to sit your fur baby I will have plenty of time to have fun with them and keep them company.
Ratings and reviews
Jelly felt so at home with Joy for our first time being away from our girl for many days!

Joy was awesome, she came through big due to it being a last minute booking. She sent updates and Prince seemed like he loved her.

Luna loves her time with Joy!
Joy makes pick up and drop offs so easy! Will use again!

Terrifying experience — avoid at all costs. I know this may be her first bad review, but I have to share my experience so others don’t go through what I did. At first, Joy seemed responsive and friendly. I was relieved to find a highly rated sitter last minute. But from the start, there were red flags. She refused drop-off at her home, saying her parents didn’t want visitors due to COVID. I offered to stay at the gate — still, she insisted we meet at a nearby park. Odd, but I agreed. She also mentioned she had a game that night and her father helps watch the dogs — again, strange since I was booking her, not her family. Drop-off was fine. I checked in later, and she replied that everything was okay. I extended the stay and considered one more day. From then on, though, she never sent proactive updates — only messages about payment, which are made upfront and wasn’t “late”. On the final day (Saturday), I texted her at 6 p.m. for an update. No reply. An hour passed. I texted again, 30 min goes by and no response, then called — straight to voicemail. Another 30 minutes and I called again. Straight to voicemail again. I am trying not to freak out. I contacted Rover’s emergency line. After another hour, they still couldn’t reach her. At this point I drove to the address listed on her Rover profile — and found an empty house. I can see through the window there’s not furniture, no sign anyone lived there. A neighbor confirmed the unit had been vacant for a while. I was terrified. I called the police for a welfare check on my dog. While on the phone, I finally got a text from Joy with a photo of Brunno, saying everything was fine. I told her I needed to pick him up immediately. She met me at the park where I had first dropped him off. She didn’t bring his almost full bag of food. I don’t even know if he ate that day. This experience was traumatic. I still don’t know where my dog was kept or who was watching him. I know for a fact it wasn’t the address listed on her profile. I had a full-blown anxiety attack and didn’t deserve this — especially when I was already going through a difficult time, which is why I needed a sitter in the first place. Book with her at your own risk. I wouldn’t wish this stressful and terrifying experience on anyone.

Joy is great as always! Jelly loves her! Always knows she is in good hands!
