I’ve had dogs all my life and currently own a rescue dog who came to me with behavioural issues and is now elderly, so I’m very experienced with dogs who need extra patience, understanding and care. I’ve also regularly walked a young Golden Retriever who pulls and can be reactive, as well as pet-sat a reactive rescue dog and an elderly, anxious dog. These experiences have taught me to read dogs’ body language, respect their individual boundaries and stay calm and confident in challenging situations. I’m reliable, attentive and genuinely love spending time with animals, whether that’s going for walks, playing, giving them company or simply making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I’d treat every dog in my care as I would my own.

I’ll be caring for your pet in their own home, where I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and secure in their familiar surroundings. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, including feeding, walking, medication or any specific routines they have. I’m respectful of people’s homes and will leave everything clean and as I found it.

Joy has walked and looked after my two dogs, and I have always felt completely confident leaving them in her care. She is reliable, attentive and genuinely cares about their wellbeing. She takes the time to understand each dog and their individual needs, and I especially appreciate that she keeps me updated so I always know everything is going well. Most importantly, my dogs are always excited to see her and come home happy and relaxed. I would recommend Joy without hesitation to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring for their dogs!
Joy is a fantastic dog sitter who has looked after my three dogs multiple times. One of my dogs is reactive and nervous but this is no issue for Joy, she is able to care for him with ease and I never have any worries leaving them with her! I highly recommend Joy as she is punctual, friendly and my dogs love to spend time with her.
We couldn't have asked for a better person to care for our dog and home while we were away. From the very beginning, Joy was responsible, trustworthy, and clearly loves animals. Our dog absolutely adored her and was always relaxed, happy, and content in her care. She took him on regular walks, gave him plenty of attention, and treated him as if he were her own. Coming home to a happy dog and a well-looked-after house gave us complete peace of mind. We would recommend her without hesitation.

Schedule
I’m currently a university student with a flexible schedule, so I can fit pet care around my studies and offer plenty of time and attention. I’m happy to work around your routine and your pet’s needs, including regular walks and visits. I’m reliable and will always communicate clearly about my availability.
