Friday through Saturday, I’m available all day for walks, and drop-ins. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday mornings and evenings for walks and drop-in visits. I’m reliable and responsive—if you have a specific need or last-minute request within my availability, reach out and we can discuss. Based in Branford, CT, works just outside of New Haven with flexible lunch breaks for visits.

Routine: Feeding times and portions, supplements, medications. What makes them comfortable: Are they food-motivated? Nervous around new people? What activities do they love? This helps me meet them where they’re at. Health & behavioral: Allergies, anxiety triggers, mobility issues, litter box preferences (for cats), and anything I should watch for or manage. I ask because details make the difference between okay care and great care. When I understand your pet’s world, I can be the reliable, consistent presence they need while you’re away
A typical day
I tailor activities to what each pet loves. With dogs, I’m big on fetch, especially when there’s space to really let them run and burn energy beyond a standard walk. I bring extended leashes (upon request) so dogs can safely play and explore while still on a secure line. For higher-energy dogs, getting that real exercise makes a huge difference in how they feel. With cats, I use rod play and smaller stuffed toys to get them engaged, pouncing, swiping, that natural hunting energy. But I also know cats need downtime, so I mix active play with calm petting and just being present with them. It’s about reading what they’re in the mood for that day and meeting them there

Jovan has a natural calmness about him which was perfect with my dog who tends to be a bit nervous. He listened to my concerns about my slightly high maintenance dog and paid extra attention in those situations. He also brings that fun playful male energy that my dog enjoyed with fetch and running around in the back yard. But he totally knew to match his energy to hers, especially as she got older. Totally impressed with his effort to make sure things were left clean and picked up. Jovan has a super sweet heart and I know would do anything to make sure my dog was safe and happy.
