Im available on weekdays after 1 PM, which means I’m available for afternoon, evening, and weekend pet care. I can do drop-in visits, walks, or overnight stays after 1 PM, and I’m happy to coordinate a schedule that works best for your pet’s needs. I’m dependable and responsive, and I’ll make sure your pet gets the attention and care they need while you're away.

Every pet has their own little personality, quirks, and routines so the more I know, the more I can keep things familiar and stress free for them. Whether it’s how they like to be fed, what calms them down, or how they act around other animals, all those details make a big difference.
A typical day
That depends on your pet's personality and what they enjoy! If they're energetic, I love taking dogs on fun walks, playing fetch, or doing little enrichment games to keep their mind active. For more relaxed pets, we might just cuddle, have quiet playtime, or hang out in their favorite spot. I always try to stick to what they’re used to whether that’s playing with a favorite toy, going on their regular walking route, or keeping a calm routine for shy or older pets. I want them to feel comfortable and have a good time while you're away.

I’ve been caring for pets for several years, both for friends and family and through part-time pet sitting. I’ve looked after dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from energetic puppies to older dogs with special needs. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, giving medication, daily walks, and providing lots of love and attention. I treat every pet like my own and prioritize safety, communication, and making sure your pet feels comfortable and happy while you're away.

Overall, Journey did an incredible job with my two pets!! My home was clean when I came back & I got updates almost every day with photos, without needing to ask for one myself. Only marking one star less here because the last day of my trip, I was waiting for an update and had to reach out for one at 9PM. I didn’t get any photos to accompany it. Paired with a strange stain on my carpet that looks like from throw up, that did worry me a little. But I’ve taken my dog to the vet and everything seems to be fine. Just a little confused at the lack of communication on the last day of the stay as seriously OUTSTANDING in every other way!! Would definitely hire Journey again for my pets and felt nearly the entire time that they were safe & cared for very well.
Journey is a natural with animals - calm, kind, and incredibly lependable. My pet warmed up to them right away, which says a lot. Journey has that special ability to connect with pets and make them feel comfortable, even when you're not around. I always feel at ease knowing my furry friend is in Journey's care. Highly recommended for anyone who wants peace of mind and a happy pet.
