Currently we live in an apartment on Mud Island in Memphis, Tennessee, we moved here from Virginia!! We have the best dog park less than a mile from our home, we have the best walking trails as well. We live on the bottom floor of our apartment so we have a lovely patio that we get to enjoy while watching the sunset or rise! I love to be outside when it’s nice out so most every morning my husband, myself and our daughter go for a 2 mile walk and nice evening walks!

A typical day
I learned that a tired dog is a HAPPY dog! So I make sure that each animal I care for gets the most exposure outside and as much play time as needed.

Pet care experience
Ever since I was a little girl I was called “Dr. Do-little!” So once I was able to I started working in the veterinary field! I started working in the kennel, walking dogs, cleaning kennels, feeding, play times and extra snuggles with the cats. Eventually I worked my way up to veterinary technician and went to school for it. During all my years I learned all about dog/cat breeds. I learned about dogs body languages and signs I need to know to make sure they are always comfortable and also got to learn some training tricks along the way too! Now being retired I use all this knowledge while caring for pets and sometimes still teaching pet owners. My passion and love for animals is still as strong as it was as a little girl and I can’t wait to love on all your fur-babies!

Jourdan was wonderful at getting Whopper used to her. She updated progress and sent photos every visit. Whopper is definitely better off with Jourdan than boarding him at a veterinary office. I’m hoping this also helps him socialize with strangers.
Jourdan took care of our fur baby gunner while we went out of town recently. Gunner has diabetes and has a strict schedule with food potty and insulin. Jourdan was amazing with this, she kept his schedule, checking his numbers, and giving his meds. Most importantly she loved him like her own and kept him so so happy. Gunner is a challenge, but she handled it with so much love and care. 100/10 recommend.
My orange cat, Honey Mustard absolutely adored his time with Jourdan! She gave him so much love and attention that I swear he was a little disappointed when I came back home lol Jourdan kept me updated with sweet pictures and made sure he was happy, well fed and comfortable the whole time. Knowing that Honey Mustard was in such good hands gave me so much peace of mind. If Honey Mustard could write this himself, I’m sure he’d give Jourdan a solid 5 paws up!
