My breed preferences are any and all! Cats and reptiles included! My love knows no extent! Questions to consider: •How many pets are in the home? • What is your pet's daily routine and temperament like? Some fur babies may react unpredictably to certain situations and it's important you let me know what activities are off limits. • How and when do I administer pet medication? (If necessary) •How much do I feed your pet and where do you keep the food and treats for them? Also, does your loved one have any allergies to certain foods or treats? •Where do you and your pet like to go together? •What areas of the house is your pet allowed/not allowed? •How do you deal with bad behavior? How do you reward good behavior? •Is there anything I need to keep an eye out for? •What are your pet’s triggers? What are they scared of? What will they react to? •Does your pet have any quirks I need to be aware of? •Anything you think I should know!
A typical day
Being outdoors is essential, so we will have fun exploring the dog friendly nooks and crannies of the area. Tell me where you and your dog love to go and I'll make sure to take them there. If they’re used to walking a specific route, we can stick to that as well. Perhaps your pet is a little older and doesn't get around as well? That's okay, too! We can keep the exercise light and explore the surroundings the neighborhood has to offer, and after, we’ll relax for a little while. Maybe you have a nervous Nelly that doesn’t like to be out of their comfort zone for too long? Plenty of treats will be given during outdoor time to make it feel less overwhelming for your pup and we can burn the rest of that energy playing tug of war with their favorite toy. We can run, play, or even just cuddle, as much as your pet desires. My ultimate goal is to make sure they know just how special they really are. You can expect a ton of photos of your loved one having a great time, too! Meals are given on time, in clean food dishes, and I always make sure to keep drinking water fresh and cool. Potty breaks will be handled with care and taken frequently. And don't worry, I'm not afraid to clean up after your pet.. no matter the size. I also don’t mind taking care of small tasks around your home as well, such as bringing in the trash cans or scooping the litter box. I’m here to help!

Pet care experience
Moved from Wilsonville to Portland and looking to restart my Rover experience here! Every animal has their own unique personality and I adapt to suit their needs and wants. Whether it's belly rubs, cuddles, or just a little space and time to adjust to my presence, I'm committed to making sure your fur babies are happy, comfortable, and feel safe when I’m with them. I currently work part time on the weekends, which leaves me plenty of time during the week to help provide care for your pet. Most of my care experience comes from having my own pets, and taking care of friends’ and relatives’ pets while growing up in a small town in Utah. I also have three years of experience working as a veterinary assistant at Cat Care Professionals in Lake Oswego, and am very comfortable around animals with special needs. Even now, I share my home with my sweet kitty, Mika, and my cute chihuahua, Gwen. I strive to be reliable, flexible, and considerate of my client’s time, schedule, and needs, and I would love the opportunity to meet you and your furry member(s) of the family soon!
