I have very flexible work hours so I am currently able to cater to all of your pets necessary needs while you're away. It is very unlikely that my dogs will interact with your pets, while still giving both my dogs and your fur friends the best care

I prefer to take care of dogs in their own homes, that's where they seem the most comfortable and they will have all of their bedding and toys within arms reach. While I have dogs of my own that are very sweet, I wouldn't want to add to your dogs stress by having to interact with other animals in a strange home that is unknown to them.

-It is not likely that your dogs will interact with my dogs, your dog will have time on their own...however how does your dog get along with other animals? -Is there anything special or specific that I should know that is particular to your pup? -I don't have any preferences...young, old, small, large, energetic, slow & steady, 3 legs, 2 tails...all pets are wonderful!
A typical day
I will plan around each individual pet...some dogs need long walks to get their energy out, and some like to take slow strolls enjoying the sights and the smells more than the actual exercise. If your dog likes to run, I can take them on long runs with me. Toys and Tennis balls are always a crowd pleaser at my house, so I am well trained to chuck toys for fetch often. I always take the weather into account with your dogs needs as well...no walks on too late in the afternoon on really hot days; taking the shade, grass, and concrete into consideration. I also spray sunscreen on a couple of my own dogs because they have short hair and they can sunburn easy. Rain and mud are no problem, i just pack plenty of towels to initially clean them off until I can get them to a bath.

I love animals because every one has a big heart and a unique & fun personality; they're always happy to see you & they ask for nothing but love in return (and sometimes treats). I currently have 2 rescue dogs, 1 special needs, that I’ve had since they were puppies. I also volunteered with the San Francisco SPCA as a dog walker/feeder in their dog adoption center. I'll care for your pets like they are my own--I love playtime & helping pups get their exercise, while also enjoying snuggle time & couch companions. I have experience with caring for dogs, cats, fish, pigs, goats, guinea pigs, and lizards!! I do everything from vet visits, groomer appointments, administer medication, and all the nitty gritty in between. I have my own business where I set my own hours, so I can be accommodating and flexible around your pets schedule.

Jourdan was absolutely amazing! Both of our senior dogs, Winston and Oliver, are declining in health, and one of them became quite sick just before we left for vacation. She went above and beyond to make sure our sick dog ate something, taking the extra time, patience, and care he needed instead of simply rushing through the visit. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about his well-being. She also followed all of our care instructions carefully and kept us updated with detailed messages and photos after each visit, which meant so much to us. Caring for aging dogs with health issues isn't always easy, but it never seemed to be a problem for Jourdan. She treated Winston and Oliver with kindness, compassion, and so much love. We came home to two happy dogs and knew they had been in the best possible hands. We wholeheartedly recommend Jourdan to anyone looking for a caring, dependable, and compassionate pet sitter who truly goes above and beyond. We will absolutely trust her with Winston and Oliver again.
Jourdan was wonderful to work with and our dogs enjoyed their time with her. She followed the care instructions we left, communication was good, our house was tidy when we returned home and our dogs enjoyed 1:1 time with her.
