Hi, I'm Josselyn! If you looked in my car, you'd probably find a bag of dog food, extra water, treats, and a leash because helping animals isn't something I turn on and off; it's simply who I am. While living in Bakersfield, I saw firstahand how many stray and neglected animals needed help. It became part of my everyday life to stop for dogs wandering the streets, providing food and fresh water, check to see if they were injured, and do everything I could to get them to safety. Whenever possible, I'd help connect them with rescues, fosters families or loving forever homes. Seeing an animal go from scared and hungry to safe and loved is one of the most rewarding experiences. Along with caring for my own dogs and cats, I've also provided dog walking and pet sitting services for others. These experiences have taught me how to care for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. Whether your pup is shy, playful, energetic, or a senior who needs a little extra patience, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely loved. I'm also very active, so if your dog enjoys long walks, jogging, hiking, or getting plenty of exercise, I'd love to keep up with them! If your dog prefers a slower pace, I'm just as happy taking relaxed walks, giving them extra attention, and making sure they feel secure. Every dog is different, and I believe their care should reflect that. What's truly sets me apart is that I don't see this as just a job. Caring for animals has been part of my life long before joining Rover. I treat every pet as it they were my own with patience, kindess, respect, and lots of love. My goal is for you to have complete peace of mind knowing your best friend is not only safe but truly cared for while you're away. I can't wait to meet you and your furry family member!
