My schedule is typically pretty flexible! I’m looking to expand my pet care services to regular clients nearby and bring more joy to your pets. I hold an AS in Early Childhood Education, an AA in Liberal Arts, and am working toward my bachelor’s degree in Human Services. Information Josie M. would like to know about your pet
I’m excited to meet your beloved pet! To ensure I provide the best care, prior to booking, please read through my policies and let me know if your pet has any special requirements or if there's any important information that I should be aware of ahead of time. Thank you so much! 😊🐾🐶 Before booking, I ask all clients to provide a basic daily schedule outlining their pet's routine. This includes important details such as: • When and how long pet(s) need to be let outside for • Feeding times and portion sizes • Medication schedules, including where and how it should be administered (if applicable) • Location of food, bowls, leashes, harnesses, treats, vitamins, medications and other essentials. Safety Policies By booking with me, you acknowledge and accept the following policies: Health Requirements: All pets must be up to date on vaccinations (such as rabies) and preventative treatments (such as flea and tick medication). I am unable to care for pets with contagious illnesses (or any pets with fleas or mites), as the health and safety of all animals in my care is my top priority. Safety Precautions: To ensure a safe and positive experience for your pup, myself, and others, I’m unable to care for pets who exhibit or have a history of the following behaviors: • Reactivity, aggression, or defensiveness • Nipping, biting, or scratching • Discomfort with new people • Not being fully housebroken (unless under 6 months) • Barking throughout the night (for housesitting services) • Excessive reactiveness or pulling on walks • Destructive behavior Important Note: If a pet displays any of the behaviors listed in my policies, I reserve the right to immediately cancel the service without a client refund. This ensures the safety and well-being of all pets and everyone involved. 🐾 For pups who love to munch on everything they find outside, I ask that they wear a basket muzzle during walks and outside time. This helps keep them safe and prevents them from eating anything that could harm them while in my care. I’ll always do my best to arrive right at the scheduled time, but please allow about a 30-minute window before or after, just in case of traffic or other drop-ins. I am not responsible for any illnesses, property damage or unforeseen incidents that may occur during my visits. That said, I treat every home and pet as if they were my own, with the utmost care, respect, and attention to detail. Your pet’s comfort and your peace of mind are my priorities, and I strive to provide a safe, positive experience every time. Accident Cleanup Policy: I understand that accidents happen! The first accident cleanup is free. For any additional accidents (puke, pee, poop, blood etc), there is a $8 clean up fee per incident (paid by booking a drop-in service through Rover). Pet owners are kindly asked to provide cleanup supplies. Thank you for helping me maintain a clean and safe environment for all pets! 🐾 Please note: These policies are subject to change at any time. Any updates will be communicated in advance and reflected in future bookings to ensure continued transparency and mutual understanding. Thank you for your understanding! Keeping everyone safe allows me to provide the best care possible! 😊🐾🐶🫶 Meet & Greets I’m happy to offer complimentary meet & greets for clients who decide to move forward with booking! 🐾 If a meet & greet is scheduled but: • Canceled, • You decide not to book, • I find your pup doesn’t meet my Rover policies during the meet & greet, or • No services are booked within two months of the meet & greet, a $20 drop-in service will need to be booked through Rover. To guarantee a complimentary meet and greet, bookings must be requested a minimum of 10 days prior to the booking start date. My goal is to ensure a tailored, worry-free experience for both you and your pet, so I very much appreciate any extra information that will help me meet your pet’s needs!
A typical day
I want to make sure your pets have a fun, active, and enjoyable day! Whether it’s playing with toys, having a couple treats, going for walks, or giving belly rubs, I focus on providing plenty of playtime and engagement. My priority is making sure your pets are happy and active, while also keeping them comfortable, stress-free, and relaxed while you're away. House Sitting Services I offer quality house sitting services with at least 4-5 potty breaks each day. If your dog enjoys walks, I can make one of those breaks a walk, up to 45 minutes (can be adjusted depending on your dog's energy level and needs - no walks after dark). My goal is to ensure your pets feel safe, happy, and well-cared for during my stay. For overnight stays, I kindly ask that a proper bed with clean sheets is provided, as I’m not able to sleep on a couch, futon, or air mattress. Thank you so much for your understanding! This helps me provide the best care for your pup and ensures everyone gets a safe and restful night! I’m happy to stay overnight with your pets (if you'd like), but I may need to step out for drop-in visits with other pets during the day. The maximum time I’d be gone at a time is 6 hours, but rest assured, I’ll always make sure your pets are well taken care of and keep you updated with regular check-ins. If your dog isn’t fully house trained and will need to be crated while I’m away, I kindly ask that they have a crate large enough for them to rest in comfortably for up to 6 hours at a time. Thank you so much for helping me keep your pup safe and comfortable! Drop-In Visits During my drop-in visits, I’ll take care of all your pet’s needs! I’ll let your dog out to potty in a fenced-in yard, feed them, replace their water with fresh water, and spend some quality time with them, giving them plenty of love and attention. My 30 minute drop ins also include a walk for up to 15 minutes (if requested - no walks after dark). For cats, I’ll clean their litter boxes, feed them, refill water bowls and make sure they’re happy and comfortable. If your pet needs any oral or injection medications, I’ll handle them with care as well. Walking Services My walking services are very similar to drop-in visits, with the added benefit of a nice stroll and new smells! I’ll take care of your pet's needs, walking them for however long booked (No walks after dark), feeding them, giving them fresh water, and administering any medications if needed. Walks are a wonderful way to keep your dog(s) active and happy, and I always ensure they enjoy their time outdoors.
