I’ve had cats, horses, and dogs all my life, specifically high energy border collies. I grew up being a house sitting for family friends with animals ranging from cats, dogs, fish, horses, goats, and llamas. I love animals and believe pets are members of the family! I will absolutely care for your pets as if they were my own :)

She took great care of my girls and made sure to check in with me about their well-being. Already have another booking with her and feel so comfortable leaving knowing she is there for my dogs.
Josie has been taking care of our home and two dogs, when we travel out of town, for about a year and a half now. At 14 and 15, hitting the road with the family has become much harder for them and when we realized it would be better for them to stay home where they are comfortable, we worried we would not be able to find someone who could, or would want to, take care of elderly dogs. Thank goodness we found Josie! Not only does she love and care for them when we are away, she also makes sure they get their medicine, sticks to a daunting feeding schedule and process, and graciously dealt with a bossy old dog, trying to tell her what to do. She has been a dream come true! I strongly recommend Josie for anyone who loves their pets like their children and needs a responsible, loving, caregiver, when they can't be there.

Schedule
I work full time 4 days a week but have flexibility and the ability to commute wherever I am needed. I can dedicate time on my days of to pet sitting!

I can’t do any boarding or bringing your pets to my home but I do have lots of experience with high energy pups and all sorts of routines!
A typical day
I love to play games with pups! Fetch, tug of war, hiding treats for them to find, whatever their favorite game is I would love to learn! I enjoy hiking and walking and would love for them to join
