A caring, conscientious, respectful house sitter
I have grown up around dogs, and lived rurually with horses, sheep and chickens as a responsibility to help my family with them since around 10 years of age. I am a runner and enjoy walks to break up my online work when dog sitting. My mum is extremely good with dogs and has trained many a dog. Establishing routine and mutual respect with her dogs. I pride myself on being intuitive and listening to the needs of the animals I care for. I have looked after cats a few times since house sitting and enjoy learning their behaviours and needs. I have been a house sitter more seriously since Sep 2023

I will be available to house sit in your home, and will be available to talk about any measures needed to help with safety. I was in the RAF Police and I am very vigilant when it comes to securing the house in which I am staying in.

We always use Josie whenever we can to look after Misty when we are away as she is so trustworthy and capable and most importantly of all, Misty absolutely adores her. It is so nice to go away knowing that Misty is in safe hands and will have a wonderful time as well! The house is always spotless too, and comms are excellent - Josie keeps us updated and sends lots of photos of Misty on her adventures. Very highly recommended!! Xxx
Josie was great looking after our nervous cocker spaniel, Dottie. With a full pre visit induction/ get to know the routine. . Josie made sure Dottie’s routine was kept, she had walks and that she was given medication. She was careful and understanding of Dottie's nervousness giving her space but also starting to earn her trust. House was also well looked after and Josie even washed and made out bed as we were due back late. Absolutely great!
Josie is a perfect pet sitter and house guest. This is the second time we have booked Josie and we have no hesitation in giving a 5* review (it would be higher if possible). She is extremely attentive and caring towards our fur babies. She gives regular updates and photos which is very much appreciated since whilst holidays are needed we suffer huge guilt in leaving the girls at home so it is a huge comfort to know that they are being cared for and receiving lots of hugs, ear and head scratches. We have experience of Josie being trustworthy and responsible in a stressful emergency situation. She takes good care of our home as well as our pets and we have no hesitation in recommending Josie.
Josie has been fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble, and she was happy to follow all the instructions for each pet. Josie established a very good connection with my rescued galgo in just over one day, which was very impressive, and gave me much peace of mind. She also left the house very clean and tidy. I won't hesitate to book her again!
We could not have been happier with Josie’s care of Misty and our home. Misty had some amazing adventures while we were away and met some new friends, which she loves. Communication was brilliant and we could go away safe on the knowledge Misty was in excellent hands.
Josie is just lovely. She came to see us pre-booking to meet Polly & Belle and we immediately felt re-assured we were leaving the girls with not only someone who would care for them but also genuinely loved dogs. She kept us updated whilst we were away and we came home to two very sleepy (hot weather) but happy pooches. A huge bonus was the care and consideration given to our home. It was pristine and she had even washed the bedding! No hesitation in recommending Josie. We will certainly be using her again.

Schedule
I work online as a health coach within my business that I started in 2023. I have a very flexible schedule with a few calls dotted around in the week. I currently teach classes in church stretton 2 evenings a week for a maximum of 2 hours, and lunchtime on Wednesday, and morning until lunch on Thursdays in Shrewsbury.
