I’m a UF college student home for the summer with a completely open and flexible schedule! This allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care, whether that means walks, playtime, drop-in visits, daycare, or overnight stays. I love spending time with animals and will make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away.

I treat every pet as if they were my own. In my home, pets are supervised, given plenty of attention, and kept in a safe, comfortable environment. When caring for pets in a client's home, I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, walks, and routines. I prioritize safety, cleanliness, and communication, and I am happy to provide photo updates so owners can feel confident their pets are well cared for while they are away.

A typical day
A typical day includes plenty of playtime, walks, potty breaks, feeding, and lots of affection. Depending on each pet's personality and energy level, we may go on walks, play fetch, enjoy outdoor time, practice basic commands, or simply relax together. My goal is to keep pets happy, active, comfortable, and following their normal routine as closely as possible.

Pet care experience
I've had dogs my whole life and have always loved being around animals. Although I am just starting out here on Rover, I have pet sat many times for friends, family, and local families in both my home and their homes. My experience includes feeding, walking, playtime, overnight care, and making sure pets stay comfortable and happy while their owners are away. I understand that every pet has different needs and I always do my best to provide safe, reliable, and loving care.

Josie was amazing with both my kitty and my dog! I would recommend a thousand percent. My pets are very comfortable around her and if you need yo pet taken care of she will deliver ❤️
Josie took care of our Shih Tzu, Jiffy, for the three weeks I was on vacation in Barcelona. She is responsible, punctual, and got along well with him. She sent daily updates, pictures, and Jiffy was always happy and well cared for. She even taught my dog to roll over! I’d trust her with my dog anytime and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a petsitter.
