I have worked with large and small animals and have lots of experience with high energy pets as well. I have turned my own home into a safe environment for my active and very curious pomeranian pup. I enjoy working with all types of pets and am well acquitted to keep them entertained and safe in a heathy environment.

A typical day
On a typical day weather permitting, I love to take my own dog hiking! She loves running the trails and sniffing for hours. It’s a great activity for pets of a livelier energy, owners permission granted of course. I also have a portable doggy bowl that’s very useful for long walks.

Pet care experience
I was raised in a pet loving household! From reptiles, rodents, fish, cats and dogs to horses, cows and pigs, i have experience with all different types of animals. I also frequently petsit for neighbors, family, and friends. I have over a year of experience in animal medicine from working at a shelter, and am currently a full time zookeeper and wildlife rehabilitator, so meds, vaccines, behavioral pets, bandage change, bottle babies, you name it-i’ve got it covered!

Josie was truly amazing with my dog, Sully! He’s a large dog, but she was awesome and kept me updated on him. She was very careful with my instructions, and made sure he was comfortable and gave him lots of love. I will definitely be booking again!
Josie is an animal whisperer. She took care of my miniature dachshund while I was out of town with a family trip. She took the best care of him and I only ever trust her with my dog. 10/10 recommend her with any animal of mine
