I have cared for a blind and diabetic dog so I am used to giving insulin shots! I have cared for elderly dogs as well and I am experienced in giving medication/treatments
A typical day
I usually start with a treat, then a picture b/c I’m a typical millennial! A lot of cuddles and belly rubs! Then potty time b/c that’s where I’m there, after 5 minutes I serve the food and take more pics b/c that’s when they’re still ? I can throw the ball as long as your dog wants me too and I love long walks along… the sidewalk

Pet care experience
I have claimed any stray cat my mom allowed me to feed as a young girl but an official pet parent to my Boston terrier mix since 2009. I became a cat mom in 2015, saving her from the middle of the street!! I have cared for a blind and diabetic dog that needed insulin shots so I have experience in that. Other skills include giving medicine! My Boston terrier mix is no stranger to allergies so I have become a pro at giving medicine to dogs as well as cats. From eye drops, and ear drops, to oral pills, I know all the tricks to get the job done! Sometimes giving oral pills without wrapping it in food! (For the cat anyways) Other skills include walking a total of 3 of my own dogs all at once, one being a puppy heeler who was ready to run while the other… were not 🤷🏻♀️

Josie went above and beyond what other dog sitters have done. Our high energy labs were taken on walks everyday. We were sent lots of photo and video updates and our house was clean when we got back. We definitely plan on using her again!

Josie was so wonderful and patient with our doggos. It was out first time leaving our pups and she did so much to assuage our anxieties!
