While Josie was very responsive, she did not understand that I booked house sitting (a whole day) rather than two drop ins (the "start" and "end" time periods of the booking). I'd recommend confirming the type of booking with her if you need house sitting. Josie took care of the dogs during the start time (11:30 am-1:30 pm on April 22) of the the booking. Around 4:30 pm I realized that her message when she left at 1:30 indicated that she was done for the day, and followed up. While I appreciated that got back with me quickly to discuss and was polite throughout, I did not appreciate that she told me at 5 pm that she would "go back over there right now to check on them" and then did not do so. I followed up at 6pm, since I could see on the cameras that my dogs were still alone; she replied at 6:30 pm that she "probably cannot make it back over there tonight because of the confusion with the times." I do not understand how she was unable to communicate that she could not take care of them when we were discussing an hour and a half prior, so that I could find someone else to take care of them. I hate to think how long my dogs might have been alone and unfed if I did not have cameras to check on them and determine that I needed to impose upon a friend to take care of the dogs. While I'm sure Josie is good with animals when she's present, I was worried sick about my dogs and I would not book with her again.
