I lived with and took care of my sisters 2 dogs (1 husky puppy and 1 adult husky/german mix). I then moved to Austin and wanted to continue having dogs in my life, so started up a Rover account! I continued sitting through Rover during my two years as a Masters Student at Georgetown, and am glad to be able to continue sitting after graduating!

Before confirming on a booking I go through an extensive list of questions regarding anything from leash reactiveness and appropriate ways to approach your dog, to walk routes that are familiar and comfortable for your dog. I always want to ensure my sitting periods are as stress-free and “normal” as I can make them.

Josie is amazing! I have a 12.5 year old reactive rescue pup that is nervous around new people and other dogs, and she took to Josie immediately! This is the first time I used Rover (usually friends check on the beast when I travel) and I thought it’s time for someone to spend the night with the beast when I’m gone. Josie was perfect. She understands sweet reactive pups and I felt that Lainey was in great hands while I was gone. She sent regular pictures and updates which helped my nerves. My friends saw Josie with the pup a couple times and thought Lainey looked relaxed and happy while with her. Definitely recommend!
Josie was so great! She was so easy to get in touch with whenever I needed and kept my pup happy and place so clean. I would recommend her to any one of my friends as a fabulous pet sitter.
Josie is the best. This is the second time she has taken care of our two mastiffs, one which is very senior and needs a lot of attention. She kept us updated during our trip, which gave us peace of mind. Highly recommend.

Schedule
I just graduated from my Masters program, so am very available as I continue to job hunt! My weekends are very busy due to weddings out-of-state, but during the weekdays I am available!
