I've had dogs in my life since I was young. The newest member of our family, Reeses, makes me smile every day and we're learning from each other so much, she just warms my heart. When I was a senior in H.S. I worked with a professional trainer, training German Shepherds. It was during this time I learned that I've got a great commanding voice that dogs want to listen to. In college I was the president of the animal rights club, and worked with animal shelters in the area. Next year I plan on taking some official training classes and starting my own dog training / sitting business. Until then I'd love to make some new furry friends and their people too.

Dogs love a good routine, and I'm here to help make that happen. I want them to feel as comfortable as possible while you're away so you can come home to a stress free pup, and for you to feel comfortable knowing your loved one is being looked after by someone that cares and is there with them.

I had a lot of anxiety leaving my dogs for a trip out of town, as I just moved to Galena and didn’t know anyone. Josh was amazing! The dogs loved him, and he took the best care of them while I was away. Kind, trustworthy, very personable, and GREAT with the dogs! Highly recommend booking him to anyone looking for someone to help with dog sitting!
We have used Joshua 3 or 4 times he loves our dogs and makes them happy, and of course that makes us happy: they love him and because we keep booking him, their anxiety when we leave has gone way down. Joshua makes our lives easier because he takes such good care of our 4 legged boys.
Joshua does such a great job with my dogs! He handles my four dogs so well. It is so nice to have a dog sitter that cares so much and that you can trust.

Schedule
I work from home, so I'm able to take frequent breaks and spend time with our four legged friends. I start the morning off with a walk, spend lunch working on some training or going for a ride, and I'm home and ready to play right at five as soon as I turn my computer off. I'm free to take potty breaks throughout the day as needed as well.
