Dog Walker Of 4+ Years
Hey! I’m a huge dog lover, but unfortunately I’ve never had a dog of my own. To fill that space, I’ve been a part-time dog walker for over 4 years, so I know some great dog walking routes! I also regularly look after friends’ and family’s dogs, including longer stays of several weeks at a time. I have looked after dogs of all ages and sizes - the biggest being a 45 kilo New Zealand Shepard! I live in a ground-floor flat in Muswell Hill with a spacious enclosed garden that dogs seem to love, complete with plenty of toys :) I also have a genuine interest in dog behaviour and really enjoy training, if that’s something you’re looking for. If not, more than happy to spend our time playing and relaxing!

Josh has looked after our dog Aida a number of times and she has always had a positive experience. Despite often being quite shy with new,people especially men, Aida is very comfortable with Josh who is always very caring and gentle with her.
Joshua is a brilliant dog sitter for our dog Charli. He is so caring to her, always making sure she is getting endless love and attention. He takes her on lovely long walks which is brilliant for Charli as she needs lots of exercise every day. Charli adores Joshua, she gets beyond excited every time she sees him, she will happily spend an entire day with him without seeming irritated or a bit down - and she hates leaving her family, so that says a lot.
Josh has walked Arlo (Shih Tzu x Bichon Frise) and looked after him, since he was a 14 week old puppy, that was over 4.5 years ago. As well as walking Arlo 3 times a week, Arlo, stays with Josh, whenever we travel abroad, which over the years has been frequent. When we are abroad, it is priceless knowing Arlo is in a safe pair of hands and having a fantastic time with Josh. Arlo was a very active puppy, hardly slept and was really hard work as a puppy. Josh was very patient and kind with Arlo and helped train him. I am so grateful to Josh for being in Arlo’s life and help bring him up to be a beautifully behaved and loving and happy little dog. Josh is incredibly kind and loving, Arlo waits at the window for him on walk days. Arlo is very lucky to have Josh in his life!
Josh has been my family’s trusted dog sitter for the past three years. He was initially recommended to us through friends, and has been a loving and responsible pet caregiver throughout the time that we have employed him. When my dog was younger, he would take her on big walks which she loved. Now that she’s older and managing some joint issues, Josh has been carefully following our vet’s guidelines, adapting his care routine, and making sure she stays both comfortable and healthy. Being able to leave our dog, Skylar, in trusted hands for family holidays has been a great comfort. These days, every time we walk past Josh’s house, Skylar refuses to carry on walking. I think she’d move in if she could. Josh offers an exceptional level of care at a genuinely fair price, I would absolutely recommend his services.

Schedule
I have a very flexible schedule and enjoy building my day around long walks or just keeping them company. I’m able to give lots of attention, and can stick to any schedule you need.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog can make itself at home at mine and have access to a secure enclosed garden plus plenty of space to relax. I always make sure the environment is clean, safe, and pet-friendly and I can provide regular updates and photos for reassurance. I have plenty of experience house sitting and always make sure to be respectful and reliable at all times.
A typical day
My favourite places for dog walks include, parkland walk, Highgate wood and Alexandra Palace. On Sundays I like to go on a walk to the farmers market and buy some homemade treats - always a favourite activity! I am very familiar with the local parks and area in general and know plenty of friendly dogs near by that would love a play date, if thats something you would like :)
