Hello, I’m Joshua, or “Shua” for short! I’m very personable with both people and pets. I’m a driven, energetic, and playful person who lives for moments of 1 on 1 connection with animals. I don’t have any dogs of my own, but I have accumulated so much pet sitting experience through Rover. I’ve had the privilege of caring for a diverse range of pups, including Black Labs, Retrievers, Shih-Tzus, Goldendoodles.. You name it, I’ve cuddled it! Through my pet sitting experience, I see myself as an adoptive pet parent. I LOVE that my apartment is rarely empty, and a fur baby is always in reach ♥️🐶 I live in the suburban neighborhood of Spring Branch. I love how much there is to do here. It’s great for running, playing, or any other activity a dog’s heart may desire. My apartment complex has a large yard with lots of open space and grass for my furry guests to play. I play soccer competitively and practice every day. I also enjoy running and cooking. My favorite shows are Suits and How I Met Your Mother. I love watching TV with friends and family. I got a 30 on my ACT and take pride in being able to find creative and intelligent solutions to any problem I’m faced with while dog sitting. Feel free to reach out with any questions!! Took wonderful care of our fur baby. Joshua is a great person. Thoughtful and clearly loves animals. (Super convenient for us!) We will absolutely be using him again ❤️

Booked for an out-of-state trip. Didn’t show up at the scheduled place and time of drop off. Cannot be contacted. Had to change my travel plans last minute.

Do NOT leave your dog/pet with this man!!! He had my 90lb girl tied up with her 6 inch leash to a pole on the wall to where she couldn’t even lay down when I came to get her in the morning. She was TERRIFIED, barking at me, and had this look of fear in her eyes I’ve never seen. Upon entering the little room he held her captive in, was feces all over the floor. It didn’t have a smell, which to me says that it’s been there awhile. She had no water bowl next to her either. Not once did Joshua message me to ask what he could do to de-escalate her “behaviors” he stated she was having, which was “getting into everything”. I’m not sure how he thought tying her up, would solve anything but make her more uncomfortable and scared. Joshua doesn’t have the proper experience or skills to take care of a dog, nor a fenced in yard. It broke my heart to know he did this to my girl and probably had did it the other night he watched her. The only difference is, he didn’t answer the phone because he was still asleep so I was able to catch this catastrophic event. My girl cried for days and didn’t want to leave my site. I would not recommend him to anyone. I hope this is a wake up call to him to realize you’re dealing with actual live animals. This was cruel punishment that she did not deserve. Joshua does not deserve to be around our sweet babies, period.
Joshua is a very nice young man. I am thankful he could care for our dogs. His yard was not fully fenced in.

I currently work from home. My work schedule is very lax and subject to change in order to accommodate pet care. Of course, making sure that each room is stacked with the proper food, water, and equipment whenever i’m leaving the house is part of my routine, and is of paramount importance to me.

I live in a one bedroom apartment. I like to distribute the dogs evenly amongst the bedroom and living room, depending on compatibility between pups. Then the rooms are stacked with toys, food, and water. From there, it’s just a matter of making sure the pups receive adequate exercise. This can be accomplished through ball play in a smaller space, Fetch, or light jogging outside.

When I look after your dog, I’ll be home with them most of the time. We’ll go on walks and jogs, play fetch, and cuddle. I’m very attentive to the needs of pets and always treat my furry guests like they’re my best friends.. I look forward to meeting your special fur baby!
