What sets me apart as a sitter is a mix of lifelong animal experience and a highly accommodating lifestyle. I grew up in rural Ontario surrounded by animals, which taught me early on how to handle different temperaments with patience and a calm energy. Today, as a post-secondary educator, I have a flexible, work-from-home schedule. Aside from a couple of days a week teaching on campus, I'm home and available to offer steady companionship, frequent walks, and attentive supervision. I know exactly what it means to trust someone with your dog and my goal is to give you total peace of mind. Whether your dog is a high-energy puppy or a senior who just wants to chill and cuddle, they will be treated like absolute royalty while in my care.

Highly recommend Joshua! This was my puppy’s first stay at someone else’s place and Joshua took great care of her. She settled right in. Joshua was also available for a meet and greet before our booking. Great communication and also got several updates with pictures throughout the day.
Joshua was so kind and lovely to work with! He kept our pup for 9 days while we were gone and made the whole process so easy. Joshua was fantastic to communicate with and gave us great updates. We would definitely recommend Joshua!
Joshua is great! Drop off and pickup were easy. Graham was well cared for and well walked :) Joshua is familiar with the breed's predisposition to back injuries so I felt safe leaving Graham in his care. He came home happy and tired. I plan on booking with Joshua again and definitely recommend his dog sitting services.

Schedule
Thanks to my flexible schedule as a college instructor, I am able to provide attentive and reliable care throughout the week—including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. When booking, please let me know if your dog requires 24/7 care, has separation anxiety, or has any other special needs.

Knowing firsthand just how much our dogs mean to us, I treat every pet that I watch like they are my own. I make it my top priority to follow their normal schedule so that I can create a calm and reassuring, familiar environment for them. Whether we're at your home or mine, I provide plenty of affection, steady guidance, and a very watchful eye. I also send frequent pictures and updates so that you never have to wonder or worry about how your best friend is doing while you are away!
A typical day
A typical day really depends on your dog's vibe. If your dog has high energy levels we'll head out for some solid walks and playtime. When we're back home, my flexible schedule means I'm usually around grading student work or working on design projects, which is the perfect setup for some cozy downtime and belly rubs. I always tailor the pace of the day to the dog that I am watching to make sure that they feel safe, entertained, and loved.
