🎖️Josh is celebrating 4+ years on Rover! 🏳️🌈 Josh is considered LGBT+ friendly! Friend of fur kin and humans! I do meet and greets in person or video call if that’s more convenient. I provide a fun safe loving experience for your pet fam. I love building positive ongoing relationships with each fur friend, and their families. I am very easygoing but pay attention to what your furbabe needs from me. Last minute to two month in advance. Or drop ins while at work. My clients like that I am reliable and they can set it and forget it knowing I will be there for their loved one. I have cared for a large variety of dogs from many different backgrounds like rescue dogs who have been abused by men, anxiously disordered dogs, dementia disordered dogs and geriatric/fragile friends. I have numerous repeat clients who I treat like family. ________________________________________ "Petspectations": Thanks for being interested in using me! I have taken some time to write how I generally do things by default. If you aren't sure about something that you think you might want or see yourself wanting in the future, do not feel embarrassed to bring it up! It has probably been asked before and we can work together to figure out what how best you can be taken care of! | Before Meet & Greet | Meet & Greets are complimentary for those who are serious about booking with me! Note: I do not have the resources to offer free meet and greets for those conducting a multi-sitter interview process. I am generally not able to participate in audition processes like this. | Drop Ins | I do morning, afternoon, and evening drop ins. I am not currently able to cater to strict schedules or exact times at the moment unless there are special needs / disabilities / health issues. Instead I will drop in within these time ranges! I don’t typically use the “rover card” feature but if asked before we book I may. Most of my clientele is okay with this. | House Sitting | For house sitting I will take care of your pet family while you are away! I will not generally leave your home during the daytime for more than 5 hours at a time max. I never have company over. I do not drink / smoke etc. I will bring your mail / packages in and water any plants. I will walk your pets as well - usually an hours worth a day. | Communication | I make it a goal to send a nice photo collage documenting your pet's day each day! I always strive to respond to pet parents as soon as I am able, usually within a few hours. If anything unusual comes up I will let you know immediately. Note: My communication cadence is typically 2-3 updates every day with photos of the fur fam’s day. Sometimes a pet has special needs and so naturally there is a bit more communication. If you think you will need more than that just let me know and maybe we can work something out! | Keep me in Biz! | Leaving a nice review if you were happy with my job helps me be able to keep doing this so I can be there for you next time!

| Safety, trust & environment | Most of this pertains to longer stays! - I work to ensure the safety of your babies by following rover's safety rules and more importantly YOUR guidance, because no one else knows your best friends better than you. We are a team! - If your pup or feline friends need medication administered I can do this as well! Enrichments: - Booking me overnight includes one 45min walk a day (or two smaller ones if it’s hot!) if that is something you would like for your fur friends! I also play with them for mental stimulation and of course pet and snuggle them. With photos! - I am not able to take extensive specifications for schedules (like 1pm do this 4pm do that 7pm this). To be a full-time sitter in this way I would need to charge hourly like a human sitter does. If you want to do this we can chat though! If you like to write instructions, I love it! Try to keep them to one page if you can. Personal safety needs: - Personal mental health: We all get anxious sometimes but I take covert psychological abuse of service sector workers seriously. Staying in another person’s home feels vulnerable for both parties. You agree all messages will be free from overt or covert aggression and that your communication will stay primarily direct and transparent. In exchange can assure you what I present is my authentic self! - You agree before booking me to reveal all surveillance like cameras, audio recording, neighbors, friend/family members checking in etc. up front. - I am unable to take clients who need indoor audio or video surveillance if I am “house sitting” (outdoor is fine). Indoor is perfectly okay if I am just doing drop ins or walks as I am not there for extended periods of time. - If I am staying at your home full time I ask for a 2 hour warning if you have friends or family coming by for some reason or to check in. You agree to this by booking.

Josh helped us out last minute after our other sitter cancelled. He was a great communicator and so sweet with our boi Ernie. He was timely and left our house very clean which was so nice to come home to after a few days away! He also gave us a heads up about an HVAC issue so we could get a jump start on figuring things out before getting home. Would recommend and use again!
Josh is such a bop! He took such wonderful care of our dog, Whiskey. This was our first time using Rover and Josh absolutely set the standard!! He updated us regularly, Whiskey clearly loved him, and he was such a gentle guest in our home. We will absolutely be contacting him again to watch our girly pop.
After more than a decade of using Rover several times per month, this is the first sitter I've used to be wholly unacceptable. I would not recommend ANYONE who cares about their pet and their home to use this sitter. There is indeed a reason for his objection to cameras
Josh communicated and sent photos of my pups multiple times each day, which i really appreciated. He took great care of my house and dogs during the 4 day engagement. He is a caring and attentive person from my experience.
Joshua took geat care of our old and slightly anxious Yorkie (and our cat) while we were gone for the weekend. I was a little anxious because he typically is only watched by family but Joshua’s consistent communication put me at ease.

| My life | Right now pet sitting is my only "traditional" job, even though I do course work on my computer. That means in the odd situation that something happens, I can be there quickly for your family member. I also only accept jobs that are close to me for that very reason.

- - You agree in booking me to let me know upfront of the exact nature / intensity level of any potential issues you could reasonably foresee when it comes to destructive behaviors or continence concerns. I take fur babies with these issues all the time, just plz plz do not withhold that info from me! - If you have ever had probable cause to be concerned about your pet biting people you agree to tell me this up front as well. Obviously I get “nipped” all the time, it’s the potentially blood-drawing bites that matter really!
