What sets me apart from other sitters is that I have real personal experience as a pet owner myself. I have an orange tabby cat and previously owned a Pomeranian and a calico cat, so I understand what it means to truly care for an animal long term. Through Rover I have built experience with a wide variety of breeds and sizes. I have worked with Alaskan and Siberian Huskies, Maltese mixes, Jack Russell mixes, German Shepherd mixes, Chihuahua mixes, Dalmatian mixes, Lab mixes and more. Big dogs, small dogs, high energy breeds, laid back ones, I have handled them all. Each sit has helped me grow as a sitter and taught me how to adapt to different personalities and needs. Every pet I care for gets the same level of attention, patience and love I give my own animals.

The environment in our house can be quiet sometimes for the cats and that’s why I let them outside, they have never gone across the street or had another encounter with another animal before, so they are well enough to be outside. Sometimes I keep watch of them while they are outside and it’s great seeing them get their sunlight and have them roll around. After our family dog Bentley passed away. It’s been all eyes on our cats and the cats have never been happier because that means more attention for them. They have everything at home, I give them the attention they deserve, and the cats never get into a fight with each other and it’s paradise. I love my animals here at home and I have encounter multiple cats and dogs from friends, so it’s definitely exciting and refreshing every time I have time with another pet.

Joshua was truly amazing and very patient with my hyper pup. he sent picture updates everyday and gave me updates. He spent a lot of time with my dog, took him for a lot of walks. My dog truly enjoyed his time there with him. I truly recommend him.
Josh has been absolutely amazing with my dogs, Rascal and Benji. From the very first meet and greet, he was warm, patient, and extremely attentive to their needs. Both of my dogs can be a little shy with new people, but they took to Josh right away, which says a lot about his calming and caring nature. He kept me updated with regular photos and messages, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. When I returned, Rascal and Benji were happy, relaxed, and well-cared for — it was clear they received lots of love and attention. Josh goes above and beyond to ensure the pets in his care are happy and safe. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and responsible sitter. Your pets will be in excellent hands!
Joshua is a very respectful and well mannered young man. Has been amazing with all the animals we've had. He is smart, respectful, and a hard worker. I guarantee anyone who gives him an opportunity will not regret it. He has taken care of his own cat and dog and all while making sure his school work was always done. He even adopted another cat from a family friend who really needed a home. Their dog was getting old and Joshua would carry him up and down the stairs daily for a walk. Grooming the dogs has never been an issue. My dog loves him and gets so excited whenever he stops by. Nothing but positive things from my side. BTW, ask him about the backpack he has for cats to be taken outdoors too!

Schedule
Coming back from college I am responsible for getting the cat’s food, cleaning their litter, and making sure they have their water. I have a big backyard and the cats get noisy if I don’t let them out. So I’ll let them roam around outside for a bit and I always make sure they’re inside before sunset. I’ll take the cats to the vets often to ensure there are healthy and always making sure they felt seen and loved constantly throughout the day.
