Safety and trust are my biggest priorities when caring for any pet. I always take time to understand each dog’s routine, temperament and any specific instructions from their owner. I maintain a calm, structured environment and pay close attention to behaviour, body language and wellbeing. Walks are always done responsibly with secure leads and safe routes, and I never place dogs in situations that could overwhelm or stress them. I treat every home and pet with complete respect and care, ensuring they feel secure and comfortable at all times :)

A typical day
A typical day usually starts with a long morning walk of around two hours, giving my dog’s plenty of time to exercise, explore new smells and burn off energy in a safe, positive way. After the walk, there’s time to rest, eat and relax, followed by gentle play, enrichment or shorter walks later in the day depending on the his needs. I keep things structured but flexible so each dog feels settled, stimulated and cared for throughout the day.

Pet care experience
I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and caring for them has always been second nature to me. I currently have my own Doberman, Ovie, who is a big part of my daily routine, so I’m very experienced with exercise, structure, enrichment and positive reinforcement. Friends and family regularly trust me to help care for their pets, and I treat every dog like they are my own. I’m patient, attentive and always focused on making sure dogs feel safe, comfortable and happy in my care.

Our puppy Peanut had a wonderful day with Josh and Ovie! Both were fantastic with her and she had a great time. Updates and communication from Josh was perfect as well, we were both quite anxious about her first day away from home but it couldn’t have gone better. Would highly recommend Josh to anyone looking for day care.
Joshua looked after our dog Mew yesterday and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. He kept us updated throughout the evening with plenty of pictures and videos, which was really reassuring and lovely to see. Mew looked so happy and clearly had a great time. His dog Ovie is such a sweetie - so calm, friendly, and well behaved. He was a great companion for Mew to play with and learn from. I would highly recommend Joshua to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter, and we will definitely be booking with him again in the future!
Josh has looked after my 1.5 year old cavapoo and has taken great care of her. She gets extremely excited to go there and comes back happy and exhausted. Josh takes Pepper on long walks to the park, and she’s become friends with his dog Ovie, who is amazing and patient with her high energy. Would definitely book again!
Josh is honestly the best. He’s looked after our 3 year old Lab, Lupe, plenty of times now, and we wouldn’t trust anyone else with her. Lupe is obsessed with him, and she’s basically best friends with his dog, Ovie. It’s such a relief knowing she’s with someone who genuinely treats her like family. Josh always takes her on those long, proper walks she needs to burn off her energy, and she always comes back happy and exhausted. If you’re looking for someone who will love your dog as much as you do, Josh is your guy.
