Dog Lover Missing a Pup 🐾
Growing up, I had a yellow lab named Jazzy who sadly passed away about 5 years ago. I’ve really missed having a dog in my life since, but my apartment doesn’t allow pets—so I’d love the chance to care for yours. I spend a lot of time around dogs like my dad’s golden retriever, Tucker, and our friend’s Bernese mountain dog, Charlie. Whether it’s going for walks, hikes, playing in the snow, or just relaxing, I genuinely love being around them. Anytime my partner and I see a dog, we get just as excited as dogs do when they see a squirrel—it really shows how much we love them. What sets me apart is that I’m not doing this just for the money—I truly enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they’re happy, exercised, and well cared for. I’m reliable, easygoing, and will treat your dog like they’re my own.

When caring for pets, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and sticking to their usual routine as closely as possible. Whether I’m walking your dog or staying in your home, I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care. I’m attentive to each dog’s personality and needs—whether that’s high-energy walks, slower paced outings, or just spending time keeping them company. I always follow any instructions closely (feeding, routines, medications if needed) and keep a clean, respectful environment in your home. You can trust that your dog will be well looked after, treated with care, and given lots of attention while you’re away.

This was my first booking with Rover and it was my good fortune that Joshua was available for walks with my dog Wiley. Joshua is extremely professional and reliable and, most importantly, Wiley adores him. Joshua took Wiley on fun interesting hour long walks and kept me updated with plenty of pictures from the walks, and Wiley had the biggest smile on his face in every one. Joshua is experienced with large breeds and took excellent care of Wiley. I highly recommend Joshua. He’s the best!
Such a kind man. My dog came back, so calm and happy. I love that he sent me 27 photos. There can never be enough photos of my dog! He also was so patient when I was a little bit late. My dog loved him.

Josh is a responsible and reliable and caring person. He has lived with pets so knows what is required for care. My dog Tucker gets very excited and loves it when Josh comes. I would highly recommend him as a sitter for any pet.

Schedule
Pet care fits well into my weekly routine. I work as an RMT in Port Coquitlam and Coquitlam with a consistent schedule—Monday 10–4, Tuesday & Thursday 2–8, Friday 12–6:30, and Saturday 9–4. This leaves me available most mornings, evenings, Wednesdays, and Sundays, making it easy to fit in walks, check-ins, or overnight sitting. I’m also able to plan my days ahead of time, so I can stay consistent and reliable for your pet’s routine.

- It’s really helpful to know any important details about your pet ahead of time, such as medications, feeding routines, and any health concerns. I also like to know how they are with other dogs and people, along with their likes, dislikes, and favorite activities. The more I understand about their personality and needs, the better I can make sure they feel comfortable and have a great experience!
