UM Student who loves dogs, has two!
I've had two dogs for seven years, and I've been hands-on with their care the whole time — walks, feeding, baths, and plenty of trips. There's a large dog park right behind my building where we're regulars, so I'm around dogs of every size and temperament daily, and I've gotten good at reading when a dog wants to play and when it wants space. I'd bring that same steady attention to your dog.

In your home, I keep everything exactly as you left it — same walk route, same feeding times, same commands and treats. I check the harness and leash before every outing, stay leashed on the street, and watch pavement temperature in summer, since it gets hot enough to burn paws by late morning here. I lock up, reset your alarm, bring in the mail, and leave your place tidy. You get photos and a short update after every visit, so you always know how your dog's day went.

Schedule
Pet care is the center of my week, not an afterthought. I keep my availability wide open on purpose — mornings, midday, evenings, and weekends — because I'd rather work around your schedule than make you work around mine. I live in Coral Gables and stay local during the day, so same-day walks and drop-ins are usually doable. Overnight house sitting I book ahead, and once we've met, I'm happy to hold a recurring weekly slot for you.

- Tell me anything that helps me take better care of your dog: medications and how they're given, food and treat rules, allergies, leash habits like pulling or reactivity to other dogs, separation anxiety, escape tricks, and what calms them down. Nothing here scares me off — I'd just rather know upfront than figure it out mid-walk. I'm happy to do a meet and greet first so your dog knows me before day one, and I'll ask for your vet's info and an emergency contact just in case.
