I have raised and taken care of several animals throughout my life - so many cats, fish and especially dogs! In addition, I am pet CPR certified so I am prepared in the unlikely event that something goes wrong and am personally insured. I am currently completing a dog training program with Karen Pryor Academy and I am a strong proponent of force free training and pet care. Finally, I am proud to have two pups of my own - both rescues with some unique behavioral challenges. I know what it's like to give that extra TLC to nervous or otherwise needy pups. <3

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is the most important part of what I do - I work with my clients to understand their pet's unique needs and to provide a custom care plan. This may mean long walks for some dogs and enrichment and training games inside for others. Your pet's safety and happiness always come first. The best way to avoid problems is to proactively anticipate and manage pets appropriately.
Ratings and reviews
Joshua communicates promptly and the cats have had a good time being taken care of by him. However, I returned home seeing the big box of treats, which is usually put at a high cupboard that the cats don't usually mess with, scattered on the floor. On the non-opening side of one of the covered litter boxes, which I put a towel beneath, had a lot pine pellets dusts on the towel and I could not understand how it happened. I got an eye infection during the trip and it didn't allow me to drive safely to Josh's place to retrieve my keys, and I had to cancel on him twice about stopping by his place. I understand the inconvenience I have caused but I receive less-than-sympathetic response about the trouble I caused him. For all these reasons, I can, in no good conscience, recommend him as a cat sitter. I can't attest to his ability and experience as a dog sitter and I'm sure he is great with animals.

Schedule
I am focused full time on pet care and dog training schooling as I launch my own pet care business. I regularly interact with cats, dogs and birds on a weekly basis beyond my own pets. I am also a weekly volunteer at AAC and APA.
