Hi, my name is Josh D and I love working with animals especially dogs. I've been taking care of dogs all my life for friends and family members and professionally for about a year. If you let me take care of your dog, feel free to let me know about a specific route the dog likes to take and/or any other special needs. If the dog is skittish or shy I will be as patient as I need to be until the dog has warmed up to my presence. I am also good with assertive and/ or dominant/ aggressive dogs as well, by assuring myself as the Pack leader. One of my favorite tv shows is the dog whisperer which gives me insights on different dogs.

I’ve been using Rover for over two years, and this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. I feel terrible that I brought Maxine there. Josh did send photos occasionally and responded to my texts, but the moment I picked her up, I knew something was wrong. Maxine was a complete mess… her eyes were crusted over, her paws were filthy, and her bed and crate were covered in mud. I’ve never seen her that dirty. I had to bathe her as soon as we got home, and it broke my heart. I also believe 100% that he didn’t read Maxine’s profile. I chose this sitter because the price was affordable, and I regret it deeply. All I can say is thank God Maxine is still alive.

I really appreciate him keeping my baby at the last minute and even when our flight was delayed he was so calm and understanding! Will definitely be using him in the future!
Needed a last-minute dog sitter, and he was available and easy to coordinate with. The whole process was straightforward and worked out well for what I needed.
Joshua was absolutely wonderful with my dog, and I’m so grateful for the care he provided. From the start, he was very communicative and made me feel completely comfortable leaving my dog in his hands. Throughout the entire time, he kept me updated with messages and pictures, which really meant a lot to me and gave me peace of mind. It was clear from the updates that my dog was happy, relaxed, and being well taken care of. Joshua went above and beyond to make sure all of his needs were met, and I could tell he genuinely cared. Coming home to a happy, healthy pup reassured me that I made the right choice. I truly appreciate the attention, patience, and kindness he showed. I would highly recommend Joshua to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and dependable to care for their pet. I will definitely be booking with him again in the future!
