Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Josh D and I love working with animals especially dogs. I've been taking care of dogs all my life for friends and family members and professionally for about a year. If you let me take care of your dog, feel free to let me know about a specific route the dog likes to take and/or any other special needs. If the dog is skittish or shy I will be as patient as I need to be until the dog has warmed up to my presence. I am also good with assertive and/ or dominant/ aggressive dogs as well, by assuring myself as the Pack leader. One of my favorite tv shows is the dog whisperer which gives me insights on different dogs.

Needed a last-minute dog sitter, and he was available and easy to coordinate with. The whole process was straightforward and worked out well for what I needed.
Joshua was absolutely wonderful with my dog, and I’m so grateful for the care he provided. From the start, he was very communicative and made me feel completely comfortable leaving my dog in his hands. Throughout the entire time, he kept me updated with messages and pictures, which really meant a lot to me and gave me peace of mind. It was clear from the updates that my dog was happy, relaxed, and being well taken care of. Joshua went above and beyond to make sure all of his needs were met, and I could tell he genuinely cared. Coming home to a happy, healthy pup reassured me that I made the right choice. I truly appreciate the attention, patience, and kindness he showed. I would highly recommend Joshua to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and dependable to care for their pet. I will definitely be booking with him again in the future!
I had a very unprofessional experience with this dog sitter. He did not seem to review the profile, as he didn’t even know my dog’s name. During pickup, one of my dogs was left unattended in the parking lot , which was extremely concerning. Communication throughout was minimal and consisted of mostly one-word responses. At drop-off, there was no communication at all, and he allowed the dog’s leash to go, creating a safety risk. Overall, I would not recommend this sitter based on my experience.
Took great care of Gus on short notice! Will board with Joshua again!
