Love dogs and loved by dogs
My wife and I are both avid lovers of dogs, as we’ve both grown up with multiple dogs since childhood. It’s been a joy for us to pet-sit for dog owners, and the dogs we board truly feel like our own! We go to extra measures to try to make our pet guests feel like they are taking a visit to their extended family. And of course, we want pet owners to feel at ease as well so we always send photos, either via the Rover app or via text depending on the owner’s preferences. Josh and his wife are amazing! They are super sweet, communicative, and thoughtful. I love that they took the time to show us their home so we can help introduce our pugs to the new environment, as well as ask us questions about our fur babies to ensure they were comfortable. One of our pugs is a blind senior with arthritis and a somewhat complicated meal plan, which can understandably make new sitters nervous, but thankfully they took it all stride and assured us they could handle her. And oh goodness, our pugs had a great time! We received so many pictures with updates I was getting worried the puggos wouldn’t want to come back home with us. Thank you for everything! We cannot wait to use your services again.
Joshua went above and beyond for our 2 dogs. They stayed by their side almost all day, every day, taking them on outings and really treated them as their own. They sent multiple photo updates daily and honestly our dogs looked like they were having more fun with them than they do with us. Even with a health scare for one of our dogs, Joshua made sure to take care of our dog and make sure that they are safe and healthy. With this being our first Rover experience, Joshua made sure I never had to worry or think twice about the care my dogs were receiving. We will definitely be using their services for future trips we take.

Joshua and his wife were the perfect hosts for our Shiba Inu! It was one of the only boarding experiences where Doji didn’t feel nervous or stressed. They kept her busy with plenty of activities, walks, and treats!
Joshua and his wife took amazing care of Kuma during her stay. You can tell they want to make sure your pet gets the attention they deserve and also want to make sure they are happy and comfortable during their stay. Highly recommended.
Joshua and his wife were super communicative and accommodating. Aspen seemed to really enjoy his time with them, and we will definitely be reaching out next time we need a sitter!

My wife and I both work remotely so we are home and are able to provide two sets of eyes for special attention and care.

Safety, trust & environment
I walk dogs in our vast apartment complex which has an open green field for bathroom needs with multiple potty stations. We also have numerous parks nearby & I can take your pet to a dog park nearby if you are comfortable with it.
A typical day
I usually walk dogs two-three times per day at minimum if they stay with me overnight. One long walk in the morning, a quick potty break in the afternoon, a second long walk to let out the energy late afternoon, followed by a bathroom break at night. I play close attention to non-verbal communication from dogs when they need food or some outside time to catch a breather or use the bathroom.
