My name is Josh and I provide loving pet care services for dogs, cats, and exotic animals in Monument, Colorado as well as surrounding areas. I am committed to being a trustworthy, reliable person who will always treat your animal(s) with respect, compassion, and affection. I have great scheduling flexibility because my wife's successful accounting career has allowed me to transition out of the the 9-5 workforce to focus on caring for the pets in our community. Thus, I have the opportunity to stay home during week days and weekends with your furry family members to ensure they are well cared for during their stay. We can work together to make sure my services match your scheduling needs. Services: - Long/short walks (in varied environments as requested for enhanced enrichment) - Play sessions tailored pet's preferences (toys, duration, intensity) - Administration of medications, food, water - Communication of pet activity/behaviors (including photos if requested) - Pet transportation to/from appointments or other locations - Pet sitting or boarding (fenced yard, outside/inside access) - Ensuring your beloved pet feels safe and well cared for, and that you feel comfortable having your pet in my care We can work together to make sure my services match your scheduling needs as my few scheduling commitments are only to my other clients in the area. I have a fenced yard and a large doggy door for inside/outside access, which I can close if you prefer for your dog to only have outdoor access at designated times. I have a sweet and sassy female dog who lives on the main floor and would love to keep your beloved pet company. She is gentle and respectful but also loves to play with other dogs who want to play with her. I also have a downstairs level for cats, separate from the dog(s), with plenty of space and a special sun-room. If there is some reason why your furry family member is uncomfortable with my dog, your pet can stay on the main floor and our dog will be down on the lower floor with the cats. I will tailor my schedule and services to be exactly what makes you and your pet feel comfortable and happy.

Josh is awesome with my little guy Odin. Odin is older and needs a little bit of special care and Josh is in tune with his moods and needs. I would highly recommend him to take care of your little!

Josh was happy to see my two dogs and took good care while we were away. He sent pictures most days and shared how they were eating, playing, etc. I will definitely bring my dogs back to stay and appreciate Josh’s obvious love of animals.

Joshua took great care of our fur baby ! He was easy to communicate with and it was nice to know D’ogee would have friends to play with! Joshua sent pictures or videos everyday so we could get a glimpse of how D’ogee was doing. I would recommend Joshua highly!

A typical day
I'm happy to take dogs on walks. We've also found that many of the dogs who stay with us enjoy going to Fox Run Dog Park with our dog. Many dogs have also enjoyed playing/wrestling with our dog. Is able to be gentle enough for smaller dogs and strong enough to keep up with giant breeds. But she will always take your dog's cue in regards to interacting. She never initiates play and wants to match the visiting dog's energy level and playfulness.
