Dog Dad with Safe, Fun Home
New-ish to Rover as a SITTER (started March ‘23). Looking forward to opening our home to new friends. Our dog is medium sized, cuddles like a small dog, and plays like a big dog. All dogs welcome here for a chilled out stay while their owners are away. I have a teenage son that doesn’t drive, so I ask for crate trained dogs because we juggle a lot of athletic activities and can be in and out in the evenings and sometimes on weekends. We stay busy!

Joshua is a very kind host, great at communication and provides updates for my dog. Joshua is being nice and flexible on picking up time, that really helped us a lot from a last minute plan change on our side. Joshua’s place is also very nice, my dog enjoyed staying there.
My dog had an awesome time. I can tell Joshua really took care of him and that he loves animals! He will be the first person I ask next time I need a sitter!

I was nervous to leave my dog Rooney for such a long time but Joshua eased all my fears and took such wonderful care of Rooney. My dog had such a great time and Joshua was so timely with detailed updates on Rooney’s health and behavior. It helped keep my mind focused on my trip and not worry about Rooney too much. I would definitely board with Joshua again.

Schedule
I work from home mostly, so if I am accepting guests, you know I am home. We start early most days, and stay up late most days…. But definitely still find time to relax most nights even if it’s on the late side.

Safety, trust & environment
If your pet is here with us, he or she is part of our family. I will give plenty of potty breaks, treats, and affection. We're a laid back crew and hope you are too! Our back yard is fenced so we can get outside every day. We also live pretty close to Marymoor so if your pet is good to go for adventures at the off-leash park we may just end up down there running around or swimming especially on weekends.

A typical day
Our neighborhood is gated and we have many speed bumps, so it stays pretty quite and keeps speeding cars to a minimum. With wide streets we can safely walk up many miles in here without having to go out on busier arterial streets.

- Ideally we can have a meet and greet prior to a stay so we can make sure your pet and my pet will get along well. If your dog is even a bit socialized, it should be easy enough to keep everyone happy. Just let me know what your dog's routine is and we'll keep them on schedule.
