A warm caring couple for your pup!
Hi, we’re Josh and Julie. We’re lifelong dog lovers and have both grown up with dogs, so having one around has always felt like a normal and happy part of life for us. We’re hoping to have a dog of our own in the future, but in the meantime we love spending time with and caring for them. Over the years we’ve looked after dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities - from regular walks with a little Dachshund who needed some extra company, to looking after a lovely Newfoundland while her owner was away for work. We know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else, so we always want them (and you!) to feel comfortable and reassured. We provide a calm, safe, and loving home where dogs can settle into their own routine, whether that’s enjoying walks, playtime, cuddles, or just having someone around for company. We genuinely love having dogs around and will treat yours like they’re one of our own and give them plenty of attention, care, and affection while they’re with us.

Josh and Julie are very welcoming and are very committed to their boarding service. We recently had to leave Blue and Tully in their care in a heat wave. They were fully kitted out with fans to keep them cool. They walked them early morning to ensure no heat stress. We were updated all through their stay providing us with reassurance that Blue and Tully were having their own little holiday. We would recommend Josh and Julie as perfect dog boarders.
Absolutely lovely people. My dogs had a great time. Josh and Julie were so understanding of our nervousness to leave our dogs for the first time. They were reassuring and sent lots of videos and pics,so we knew what they were doing. Their love for dogs is very clear and with our dogs the feeling is clearly mutual. One of them was reluctant to get in the car! Sad that they're not available when we next need a sitter.

Thank you to Josh and Julie who have truly spoiled Rebel on his first stay with them. They have gone above and beyond to look after him and to ensure that he did not go without his cuddles. We cannot thank them enough and look forward to the next time he goes to stay with them.
Josh and Julie were so incredible with Boo! It was our first time leaving her and she can be quite anxious, so we were a bit nervous. They made Boo feel comfortable so quickly and she clearly had the best time with them. We really appreciated the regular updates and it was so reassuring seeing how much love she was getting. I knew she would be cared for but Josh and Julie go above and beyond to treat your dog as if she’s their own. We would absolutely recommend them, especially if you or your dog are a bit anxious about the experience. Thank you both so much!
Joshua was absolutely amazing looking after Nala today. Thank you so much for all the updates, pictures and videos throughout the day — it was so lovely and reassuring to see how happy and well cared for she was. It’s clear that Joshua genuinely cares and goes above and beyond. Nala had a wonderful time, and we felt completely at ease knowing she was in such great hands. We’re incredibly grateful and would highly recommend Joshua ☺️

Schedule
I work from home so I have plenty of time during the day to give dogs attention, company, and care, whether that is a walk, some playtime, or simply making sure they are happy and settled. Julie works Monday to Thursday office hours but is home for evening walks and quality time with the dogs. We love exploring new places and often head out for walks, countryside trips, or weekends by the beach with a four legged friend joining us, and we always aim to make every dog staying with us feel comfortable, cared for, and at home.

Safety, trust & environment
We care for each lovely dog as if they were our own. We are a warm, friendly couple who can easily adapt to different personalities and provide the attention and care your dog needs. We have a fenced garden so we can safely let dogs out for bathroom breaks or for a sniff around whenever they need. We are very attentive and happy for dogs to cuddle on the sofa or in bed, but we will always follow your instructions so we match your dog’s usual home routine. We take regular walks with all dogs we look after, usually one in the morning and one in the evening, but we are flexible if your dog prefers a different routine. Our home is equipped with toys, quality treats, a cooling mat, towels, shampoos, and adjustable height feeding bowls, and we live just a few steps from a local pet shop so we can quickly pick up anything you need. We also have security cameras in the home for added peace of mind.
A typical day
We love going out for morning and evening walks and we like to mix things up by visiting different places so your dog gets plenty of variety and new things to explore. If your dog is happy in the car we also enjoy heading a bit further afield for beach trips, with favourites being Lyme Regis and Exmouth. We also have toys for stimulation like licky mats, snuffle mats, and Kong toys filled with treats for mental enrichment. We also love gardening and visiting garden centres and often take dogs along for a relaxed wander and a change of scenery.
