Josh has worked on a dog ranch, and both Josh and Julie have decades of experience living with and loving dogs of all shapes and sizes. ***Our advertised Rover rates are introductory, for first time clients. We can review direct price structure and options with you, to save you on fees after your introductory visit is completed.*** We alternate being home all day, most days of the week. We can arrange to be home during the entire boarding dates booked. We are also happy to board your dog(s) for extended stays. We are on a beautiful, historically protected farm reserve just four miles south of downtown Leesburg. This means nice walks on well cared for trails and fields. We have a very friendly Lab Retriever mix rescue, who loves to make new friends feel welcome. Options for daily runs in our neighborhood, and even a public dog park just a five a minute drive away.

Great doggie daycare! We needed something last minute and J&J came through. Not only were they super responsive, but they have an awesome backyard and lots of indoor space too. They even sent videos of our Quincy during his stay. We would definitely use again! Thank you so much Josh & Julie!
Just Wow! Josh and Julie are incredible hosts. Finding someone to watch your loyal companion for an overnight is nerve wracking but I left Apollo feeling beyond confident in the hands of Josh and Julie (and family)!. From the second we arrived, the care and detail of welcoming new pets to their home is incredible. Giving the dog space to acclimate, bringing out (the real host), Loki, to meet Apollo and then recapping any needs, triggers and asking proactive questions to ensure both their safety and the dogs safety is so encouraging. Apollo sometimes takes a bit to warm up to new people but he felt right at home. The communication, the professionalism and the quality care is unmatched. Josh & Julie - thank you for the opportunity and building trust with my buddy. Highly Recommend!
Dogs felt like they were at home! Was updated with pictures and videos, which were great! I would recommend them to another dog owner!
Our dog Sofi was very well cared for by Josh and Julie. We were especially grateful because this was a last minute request, yet we were able to leave Sofi with confidence that she was in good hands. They have a lovely back yard, which is a treat for Sofi. It's clear that Josh knows dogs well and can interpret their behavior (Sofi is sometimes anxious in some settings). I would recommend Josh and Julie without hesitation.
They sent me photo and video updates, and my dog looked so happy and comfortable the whole time. You can tell they really care about the dogs. I’d definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone!
Josh and Julie took real good care of our fur baby. They provided pictures and updates regularly which made me breathe peacefully with my busy schedule over the weekend. Even though it was his first time with them Wilber came home happy. We will definitely be sending Wilber back when we need.

Schedule
We alternate who will work from home, so we will have plenty of time to play with your dogs on our very large fenced property, or taking them for hikes around our farm reserve. We will always have one of the adults around the house.

Safety, trust & environment
We are on a three acre zoned lot, on a historic farm reserve. We have nice, clean, paved roads and miles of trails on which to hike, including Sycolin Creek coming right through our farm reserve.
Pets
A typical day
We enjoy walks and runs on our paved farm road, fields, woods, and streams! Playing fetch, catch, and tag is popular in our large fenced yard. Nice places to sleep in the sun, both outdoors and indoors. Many petting and playing sessions are easy with a family of five that are studying and working from home. We LOVE dogs!
