- Their routine, with extra love - I’ve always had a dog, going back to childhood, and was a key part of training and care, which became solely me in adulthood. I have patience for puppies and gentleness for seniors. Walks, playtime, and feeding bring me as much joy as them. I can assist with training and administering medication, and anything else needed as well. Going above and beyond comes naturally for me. My approach is simple: I learn your pet rather than expect them to adapt to me. I follow their routines, pay attention to their body language and boundaries, and give them the kind of attention they enjoy. Animals connect with me, and I with them - something I’ve experienced again and again and am confident promising you. I’m comfortable with seniors and special-needs pets, and I’ll keep you updated while you’re away. Mostly, I genuinely enjoy this - walks, playtime, couch company, silly conversations, and belly and butt rubs are all part of this great job.

Josh is the BEST. He took care of our two energetic dogs, a 3yo golden retriever and 2yo husky, for a week at our house. He sent regular updates that completely put us at ease and very often made us smile. It was clear from the pictures and the dogs’ demeanors when we got home that they were extremely well taken care of… loved on and exercised. Josh also must have cleaned the house, which is very thoughtful and made coming home after travels all the better. He’s awesome! Book him!
Josh was AMAZING. Our dogsitter cancelled on us with a few days notice of our trip and he came to do a meet and greet the next day and helped us out by staying over a holiday weekend. I am so grateful to him for taking amazing care of our Max. Max is an anxious boy but he seemed calm and happy when we got back.

Schedule
I’ve had my cat, Little Panther, for 12 years now, since before she was full-grown. She’s pictured there with my dog, OK, who’s no longer with us thanks to Father Time. My schedule outside of pet care is very flexible. I provide walks, drop-ins and house sitting throughout Chicago and know the city and its neighborhoods very well.
