CPR and pet first aid certified, insured beyond Rover's coverage. I'm currently offering regular recurring walks in the Haddam/Higganum area. I live off Walkley Hill in Haddam and can travel about fifteen minutes from there. I'm comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Confident walking pullers and reactive dogs and I do my best to be cognizant of triggers to keep walks calm and productive. I treat all animals with respect and empathy, with the same care and effort I put into my own pup. I'm available Mon-Sat early morning to mid afternoon. **Offering a discounted rate for walks between 10AM and 1PM as I'm trying to fill out my midday schedules**

Safety, trust & environment
I stay vigilant during walks to keep your pet safe, avoiding possible triggers and unsafe situations is my priority. I keep up with first aid and handling techniques and also carry medical supplies when hiking. All gear is checked prior to walks to ensure safety.

Our shepherd mix, Koda, gets worked up when he sees other dogs. Josh understood right away and planned routes that kept her calm. Over time, she’s been less reactive on our walks, we attribute that to his calm and steady handling.

Schedule
Mon-Sat 6 AM to 3 PM for recurring weekly walks. Flexible with check-in visits for regular clients, I do not offer check-ins for pets I don't see on a regular basis.
