I appreciate getting a run down of the basics of your pets routine: feeding times, how many outings or walks they require. If there are trails or parks your dog likes please let me know so I can help them stick to what’s familiar! Please let me know any commands your dog knows, as well as rules when it comes to feeding, treats, furniture, and kenneling (if applies). Please let me know if your dog is good off leash and will respond to verbal commands, even from someone like me, who they are not familiar with. If you pet has any medication or dietary needs please inform me, as well as their behavior with other people/pets.
A typical day
I always love to take dogs on walks, catered to their needs. Lower energy dogs may only require one daily walk while others need two or three! There’s so many wonderful parks and hiking trails in the area, and I love taking dogs there, on or off leash depending on trail requirements and the dogs trainings.

I love animals and have been caring for them professionally for the past six years. I have experience with all kinds of cats and dogs, including those with unique personalities, from both friendly and anxious, and I adore them all equally. I have cared for puppies that need training and almost constant attention, as well as senior dogs that need special care. Nothing makes me happier than earning a pets trust and seeing those ears perk up or that tail wag.

Josette is wonderful. We have a dog who can be challenging but she was willing to spend a little extra time to get to know him before we left. She took great care of the dogs and the house, even washing the sheets before she left. Good communication. She made everything easy. We will use her again for sure! Highly recommend.

We appreciated Josette caring for our pets while we were away. Our lab and cat appeared well taken care of. She was prompt and responded well to communication. My only request would be more pet updates (however that's my preference being attached to our fur babies).
Josette did an amazing job taking care of our zoo while we were out of town. She sent us lot of pictures and updates each day and we could tell they were very relaxed and happy during her stay.
