I DO NOT TAKE DOGS OFF-LEASH unless we are in a safe, enclosed space with no unfamiliar animals or people.

A typical day
Common activities: Fetch, Tug - I can keep up with athletic breeds! "Find It!" - Treat search that usually takes place inside and encourages your dog to use their fantastic nose and brain. General Enrichment - Independent but supervised play with a treat or toy that engages your pets natural drives appropriately (so they only tear up a toy, and not the living room carpet). Walks - fast-paced, stop-and-sniff, or any mixture of the two. On leash walking only, no interacting with other animals or people. TRAINING, if requested. 🛁🧼 GROOMING/BATHING, if requested. 🫧

Lifelong pet owner 🐾 and longtime pet care provider!! 3 years of professional Animal Shelter experience 🏠 and 10 years of volunteer Animal Shelter experience. ⭐️ Experience administering specialized care: bottle-feeding, injury, sick, and senior animals 💊 Also working with high-intelligence and high-energy breeds (border collies, cattle dogs… malinois 🐊). I respect owners structures for their animals, and am ready to learn and implement training regimens as needed 🫡 BUT I’m also happy to chill and study with your couch potato/snugglebug 🤗 💕

Josephine not only showed up on time, she was able to come early with just 45 minutes notice when I had gotten our departure time wrong. She was great with our dog and texted me updates re how things were going. We used her all day the first day and 1/2 of the second day. Our dog seemed to like her and have fun with her. We highly recommend Josephine.

High praise for Sloan (Josephine S). She is wonderful with my dogs, a senior lady and a big goofy working breed puppy. She fed them and gave them their medication, took them for walks, and looked after our house. It was a great comfort to have a sitter who is smart, observant, and reliable staying with them.
