Active animal lover!!
I love dogs and cats and all pets!! I grew up with a big dog and two cats so I have experience taking care of both. I have also dogsat medium and smaller dogs, as well as catsat before. I am comfortable with handling reactive and anxious pets, and always let all pets come to me first so they feel as comfortable as possible. I will also maintain constant communication with owners through pictures, videos, and text updates!

Safety, trust & environment
With reactive pets, I gain their trust by giving them the space they need and letting them come to me. I also come prepared with treats! On walks, it is important to me to know pets triggers and how they prefer to be handled beforehand so that I can keep them safe and happy. I have also taken care of special needs dogs and tripods and understand that needs for certain dogs vary greatly.

Josephine was great! She is very responsive, came to do a meet & greet before our first visit, and was amazing my with cat. She followed all instructions and sent lots of photos. Very pleased!

Josephine was great with my 100 pound dog for a week! She sent pictures frequently and he seemed very happy during the trip! He also didn’t have his arthritis flare up so he was getting plenty of movement / exercise. 100% would have Josephine keep him again!

Schedule
I am a student, however, I am typically quite free on weekends (and even during the week) and am happy to do overnights, walks, and drop-ins.
