Hi! I'm Josephine, an experienced dog sitter and returning adult student. This might sound cliche, but dogs are my absolute favourite animals! I treat animals with as much respect as I would a human being. I have an intuitive, receptive, and education-based approach to caregiving (I read a couple books). My 5 years of experience includes taking care of reactive dogs, dogs using wheelchairs, young ones and seniors. I'm happy to integrate whatever your dog needs during pet-sits, drop-ins, and walks, such as treats and basic training they're already working on. I've trained my previous dog to do a few things as an adult, so I'm familiar with the process, but I'm not a trainer myself. For dog-sitting, I'm 100% respectful of your home, so I do my best to keep everything in tact, clean, and tidy.

For dog-sitting, I follow all of your care instructions, including for specialized diets and medication. I'm very attentive to the dog's needs and desires and will answer to them promptly.

My second time booking with Josephine and it was very comforting to have her take after our very complicated and high-energy dog. I'm very sorry that she is moving away because I would be less stressed about taking a vacation every once in a while.
Both me and my dog are big fans! I have a disabled dog who uses a wheelchair and so finding a dog walker who was comfortable getting her in and out of her wheels for walks was a bit of a challenge. But Josephine was willing to learn and now does it with ease which is such a relief to know that we have a person able to help when we need it. Josephine is so sweet and caring with our pup, I feel confident that she is in great hands on walks and when Josephine watches her !
We were almost certain we were going to have to send our dog to a boarding kennel after our first sitter bailed on us last minute right before Christmas break. We cannot thank Joséphine enough for stepping up to the plate and taking care of our very high-energy working-line German Shepherd! She played with him a bunch, of course (which is a job on its own). But the real testament to her care was shortly after we arrived home from our delayed flight at 2am, he snuck downstairs just so he could snuggle up with Joséphine for her last night here. I have a pretty intensely strong bond with this dog, so if he's ditching me to snuggle with someone he's only known for 5 days, you can rest assured she will take great care of your pup too!
Joséphine watched over my fur babies while I got the opportunity to work at a camp for two weeks. She incredibly respected my home and provided adequate updates on how my fur babies were doing. She’s reliable as well as responsible throughout her care of your animals. It’s lovely to have someone compassionate to care for my animals while I am away.

Schedule
I'm currently studying full time and I have plenty of available time to play, laugh, and walk with your furry buddy! I'm sure we can figure out a perfect schedule.
