Where Every Tail Keeps Wagging
I’ve looked after dogs for everything from overnight stays to several weeks at a time, so I’m comfortable caring for them as part of my daily routine. The breeds I’ve cared for include Whippet–Deerhound crosses, Shih Tzus, French Bulldog–Jack Russell crosses, Cavapoos, and Cockapoos. Every dog has their own unique personality, and I love getting to know what makes each one happy, whether that’s long walks, playtime, or plenty of cuddles.

I've trusted Josephine to look after both of my dogs, Rosie (15) and Charlie (2), and she's always been fantastic. She takes such great care of them, making sure Rosie gets her medication on time and both dogs are happy, comfortable, and well looked after. Josephine has been looking after my Shih Tzu, Benji, for the past six years, and I couldn’t ask for a more caring, trustworthy, and dedicated sitter. Whether she’s staying at my home or welcoming Benji into hers, she treats him like family. He absolutely adores her — his excitement every time he sees her says it all. Jose is amazing with Norma, and I honestly couldn't recommend her enough. She always sends regular updates and loads of photos, which gives me total peace of mind. Every picture shows Norma looking so happy and having the best time with Jose. It's so reassuring knowing she's in such good hands!
Josephine has looked after my dog on multiple occasions, too many to count now! She is incredibly caring and tentative to Jojo's needs and even her little quirks. I never have to worry when I go away as I know she will be very well cared for, my mind is completely at ease. Jojo also loves her visits, her tail starts wagging the minute she sees Josephine, or when we approach her house in the car. She takes herself off into the house right away, immediately gets on the sofa and lies down for a nap! Jojo is an older dog now but she still gets her two walks a day with Josephine, and lots of attention. Josephine knows her routine well and that is helpful as it's really important for Jojo to stick to her routine, she stresses otherwise. I honestly couldn't recommend Josephine enough, I don't know what I'd do without her!

Schedule
I work full-time in a hybrid role, which means I can work from home during your dog's stay and provide plenty of companionship throughout the day. I typically offer three walks a day: a morning walk, a lunchtime stroll and an evening walk, but I'm always happy to tailor their routine to suit their age, energy level and individual needs.

I have a secure, fully fenced garden with a mix of stone and gravel, providing a safe outdoor space for your dog to explore, sniff and enjoy some fresh air. It's just me at home, which means your dog will receive plenty of one-on-one attention, companionship and care throughout their stay.
A typical day
I work from home during the week, so your dog will have plenty of company throughout the day. If boarding/day-sitting: In the mornings and afternoons, we can head out to a local mountain with a variety of walking routes, ranging from peaceful trails to more adventurous paths. There'll be plenty of exciting sights, sounds and new smells for them to explore! At lunchtime, we can enjoy a shorter walk to a nearby park for a game of fetch or some chilled wandering. If your dog is older or simply prefers a slower pace, I'm equally happy to spend that time enjoying gentle cuddles, relaxing together, or people watching from the park or a dog-friendly café. I'll always tailor the day to your dog's age, energy level and personality, making sure they feel happy, comfortable and well cared for.

- Please let me know about any behaviours, quirks or triggers your dog has before their stay. I'm happy to adapt our walks to suit their needs, including choosing quieter routes with fewer dogs if that helps them feel more comfortable. There is a cat living next door, so I always take this into account. I've previously looked after a dog with a high prey drive who was naturally very alert in the garden. By supervising closely and managing the environment carefully, we avoided any issues and ensured they stayed safe and relaxed throughout their stay.
