Hi, I’m Josephia, and I would absolutely love to meet your pets! I hold a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. I’ve also been pet sitting for dogs and cats in my neighborhood since high school, giving me over 10 years of experience caring for animals in both casual and structured settings. Most recently, I spent the past year doing a work-stay on a farm, where I was responsible for the vegetable garden, 12 fruit trees, and the daily care of a variety of animals, including two sheep, nine chickens, three cats, and a dog. This experience taught me how to be highly attentive, consistent, and adaptable to different animal needs and personalities. My responsibilities included feeding, cleaning, monitoring health and behavior, and maintaining safe, comfortable environments for all animals. I’m very familiar with sticking to routines, which I know is especially important for pets while their owners are away. I live an active lifestyle and love being outdoors, so I’m great with pets that need long walks, runs, or playtime. I truly treat every pet like my own and prioritize clear communication with owners through updates, messages, and photos so you can feel confident and at ease while you're away.
