Every dog is different, so I follow their lead alongside the recommendations of the parents. Generally, we'll get outside for a walk or explore, as Tucson has great parks and trails to do so at, while being mindful of the heat. Then we may come back for some play and wind-down time. Mental stimulation matters as much as physical, so I mix it up. The goal is a happy, tired dog by the time you're home.
