I have the rare combination of professional pet care training - including Red Cross Cat & Dog First Aid, Fear Free, NAPPS, and PSI certifications - as well as a childhood in semi-rural Georgia that gave me a deeply-developed, intuitive connection with dogs and cats. During 2+ years on Rover, I’ve earned 100% 5-star ratings across 90+ overnight pet care bookings with 0 last-minute cancellations and, most importantly, a perfect safety record. While I enjoy providing professional overnight care for all dogs and cats, I specialize in providing care for anxious, senior, reactive, rescue, medically complex, and behaviorally sensitive pets.

We count ourselves so lucky to have found Joseph! Not only was he incredibly responsive and thorough before we left, he provided numerous daily updates while we were gone so we knew our pup was enjoying himself and things were going well. Our recent rescue clearly adored him, and Joseph was incredible with him on walks (which can be a stressful/excitable time for our dog). He gave us some great recommendations for our dog based on his years of experience, which we could actively see working during his time here. And though this is definitely not a part of the job, our home was clearly so well taken care of while we were away - we were amazed. Anyways, we can’t recommend Joseph enough and he has new customers in us!!
Joey was an incredible in house sitter. First and foremost, he’s professional and has years of experience that show in his work. He provided daily updates on our dog’s behavior, sleeping and eating routines, and any activities they got up to that day. He also kept our space very tidy! I would 100% recommend him and we will be booking with Joey again
Joey was a godsend not only for my dogs but also for me. His compassionate, thoughtful, inquisitive approach to me as an owner and to my dogs shows how much care and concern he has for his clients. He took the time to get to know their stories and to understand their personalities, habits, and needs. His interactions with my dogs showed experience, knowledge, and understanding. He gave them the space and calm they needed to get to know him and see him as a friend. His thoughtfulness and experience also gave me the comfort I needed and I knew my boys would be in good hands. I would highly recommend Joey!
Joey did a fantastic job watching my dog and cat while I was out of town! So glad in particular for his knowledge of behavior in both as my cat is a recent rescue so we’re still settling in to our routines. It was very comforting to know I left my girls with someone who was not at all hesitant about keeping an eye on any behavior issues that could crop up while I was out (thankfully, there were none though!). I came home to happy pets and a tidy apartment. Would definitely hire him again!
