Big yard lots of love
G'day everyone, Tina and I moved from Australia to Canada in 2022 with our senior dog Sandy who sadly passed away one month short of her 17th ( Oct 2025) birthday. We have always had a dog(s) in our lives though for a number of reasons have decided that Sandy will be the last dog we own. However we love having dogs around and thought dog sitting allows us the flexibility to travel and when home to have a dog(s) to play with, hang out with and enjoy the variety of personalities they display. We are non smokers and have a very large fully fenced yard for your pet(s) to explore - the beach (pixie) is a short drive down the road if they are swimmers and there are some nice dog parks that we used to take Sandy to close by. Tina and I work part time so it is rare that no one would be home when your pet(s) stay with us. With us they will enjoy cuddles, tummy rubs and lazing on the grass in the sun or lounging on the sofa looking at the lake.

Never having left our dog with someone we hadn’t known before, I was fairly nervous. But Joseph and Tina were great. Very loving and attentive to our dog who loves attention. Our dog was a bit mopey today….i think he misses them. I highly recommend this couple.
Honey had a blast at their house. Great yard, A/C and lots of space to chill. Really great communication and accommodating our late arrival. Can't wait to get back to Lake Country so Honey can have another vacay there.
Joseph and Tina welcomed Andy from our first conversation and every visit with them offers us peace of mind. They provide a beautiful, natural and enclosed space, plenty of love, excellent communication and are all around wonderful folks. Would highly recommend -
Our dogs love to spend time with Joseph and Tina. They are comfortable with the surroundings and feel completely at home. The yard is amazing and Joseph and Tina make frequent visits to the dog park to get them out and to socialize. We could not be happier with the care Charlie and Murphy receive.
Tina and Joseph are phenomenal, and Charlie Brown was spoiled during his visits—with dog park plays, a large yard to zoom around and a patio from which to stare at the lake and the many birds. He even got to sleep in the big bed. A luxury resort for the furriest member of our family, and confidence for us that he was well taken care of (we even got photo updates throughout his stay). Thanks so much Tina and Joseph.
This is our first time booking with Rover.com. Joseph and Tina were the care providers for Charlie and Murphy. We are very happy with the care and attention our boys received. Our dogs settled in well and seemed very content with the experience. Joseph and Tina have a great home and yard to accommodate larger dogs. They were very flexible and allowed time for the dogs to get oriented and comfortable. It is important for Charlie and Murphy to get ample exercise, which Joseph and Tina were more than happy to make happen. All in all it was a great experience. We will not hesitate to book with them again.

Schedule
Semi retired couple who work part time (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) so more often then not your pet will not be home alone and and on the days that we are at work - due to our schedules it is only a few hours that they are by themselves.

Safety, trust & environment
We are both non smokers. Our house is in two parts. We spend most of our time upstairs which is where your pet would also be which gives direct access to the front yard and then down the side to the back yard. The yard is large and fully fenced.
A typical day
This really depends on your pet and what is a typical day for them Tina and I are pretty chilled apart from yoga and golf or skiing in winter we tend to hang around (inside and outside of ) the house. We enjoy bushwalking especially around Kal Lake and would enjoy taking (when appropriate) your pet on a hike with us
