Your Dog's New Best Friend
I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I owned two Miniature Pinschers growing up and I adopted one Australian Shepherd mix that has special needs as an adult. I trained all of my dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed away as seniors. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Westchester. I've always enjoyed being around animals since I was young and animals tend to feel the same way about me. Animals who are usually timid around strangers are comfortable around me right away and they seem to trust me right away. I feel like connecting with animals (dogs specifically) is a gift that I have. Being a sitter is a great way for me to use that gift in everyday life. New clients get a free 2027 desk calendar that has photos of my clients and my dog as well (check my photos for a preview).

Joe did a great job taking care of Luna. We felt comfortable that our dog and our house were in good hands. It seemed like Joe really bonded with Luna and that he genuinely enjoys working with animals.
Joe is a true dog lover! We appreciated how tuned in he was to our pup’s behavior, his sincere commitment to her well-being while we were away, and that his photos to us showed her feeling relaxed and comfortable. That he left our home as clean as it was when he arrived didn’t go unnoticed. We can’t recommend him more highly!

Joe was not kidding when he said he will be your dogs “new best friend”! My pup loved him! They went through a heat wave together and Joe was very careful to make sure Harry was hydrated and happy even in the extreme heat. Joe sent lots of pictures so I knew that Harry was well cared for. Highly recommend!
We hired Joseph for the first time to watch our 2 dogs while we were away for the weekend. We have a very energetic pointer and a cavapoo who is more chill. Together, they can be a handful. They sometimes get separation anxiety, so we’re anxious to have a new sitter. Joseph put our minds at ease. He was punctual, responsible, caring, followed all instructions and was very communicative. He asked all the right questions so he could provide the best care for our pups. I highly recommend Joseph and have already booked additional dates with him on Rover.

Safety, trust & environment
I don't have a lot of room in my studio apartment so I'm only able to watch either 1-2 small dogs or one medium sized dog. Large dogs are too big for my apartment. If I'm at a client's home, I'll change my schedule to meet the needs of the pet. I believe all animals are unique and all have different needs in order to thrive in the environment that they're in. I'm willing to meet those needs by building my schedule around the animals that I'm sitting.
A typical day
I try to adapt to the needs of the pets I'm watching. If a dog likes going out for long walks, I'm willing to accommodate that. If another dog likes staying inside and relaxing, I'm willing to accommodate that as well. My goal isn't simply to watch the pet. I want to keep the pet happy and engaged and I want to make them feel safe and comforatable.
