Your Dog's New Best Friend
I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I owned two Miniature Pinschers growing up and I adopted one Australian Shepherd mix that has special needs as an adult. I trained all of my dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed away as seniors. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Westchester. I've always enjoyed being around animals since I was young and animals tend to feel the same way about me. Animals who are usually timid around strangers are comfortable around me right away and they seem to trust me right away. I feel like connecting with animals (dogs specifically) is a gift that I have. Being a sitter is a great way for me to use that gift in everyday life.

Joseph always goes above and beyond as a pet sitter. He is an incredibly good communicator and I know that my dog is being well loved and taken care of under Joseph’s care. My dog is very active and still has lots of puppy energy, but Joseph remains patient with him and makes sure that my dog can safely get his energy out.
Joe was an absolute amazing sitter. He took amazing care of Otis, sent lots of pictures and went above and beyond with helping us around the house. Highly recommend

My dog just went through a few stressful events that has made him very anxious around strangers but he was very comfortable with Joe. We did a meet and greet before booking he did not show signs of anxiousness; in fact he took to Joe immediately licking him on his face. Joe then watched him all day on back to back days over the weekend which went very well. My dog was relaxed all day and did not have any issues. Joe is very flexible, priced extremely reasonable and I look forward to using him again in the future.
Joe has always had a natural affinity with animals. He’s my go to person when I need someone to watch my rabbit as he’s a reliable person.

Safety, trust & environment
I don't have a lot of room in my studio apartment so I'm only able to watch either 1-2 small dogs or one medium sized dog. Large dogs are too big for my apartment. If I'm at a client's home, I'll change my schedule to meet the needs of the pet. I believe all animals are unique and all have different needs in order to thrive in the environment that they're in. I'm willing to meet those needs by building my schedule around the animals that I'm sitting.
A typical day
I try to adapt to the needs of the pets I'm watching. If a dog likes going out for long walks, I'm willing to accommodate that. If another dog likes staying inside and relaxing, I'm willing to accommodate that as well. My goal isn't simply to watch the pet. I want to keep the pet happy and engaged and I want to make them feel safe and comforatable.
