What started as a pet sitting for friends and neighbors in college turned into a true passion. I took on regular sitting clients throughout my college years and have continued doing so here in downtown Chicago. I'm home all day, every day which means no crating while I'm at an office, no long stretches of isolation. I live in a pet-friendly condo in downtown Chicago with a dedicated outdoor dog park just steps away which is perfect for morning runs, midday play sessions, and evening wind-downs. Whether your dog loves to socialize or prefers a calmer environment, my space accommodates both. I treat every dog like my own. Joey’s watched my pets a bunch of times over the years and he’s always been super reliable. He’s great with dogs and actually enjoys spending time with them, not just quick walks and done, but hanging out, playing, and making sure they’re good. My pets clearly like him, which says a lot. He’s easy to communicate with and just someone I trust to handle things without any stress. If you need a dependable, genuinely good dog person, he’s a great pick.
I went to college with Joe and he took care of my German shepherd named Finn who was about 3 years old at the time. Finn can get pretty chaotic but Joe was great in making sure that he was calm and cared for. He took care of him for a week when I was out of the country and when I got back Finn was well behaved and taken care of. Definitely would recommend him for all types of breeds!

Schedule
A typical day looks like this: we start with a morning walk and a trip to the outdoor dog park right near my building, followed by relaxed time at home while I work. Midday means another potty break, playtime, or a second walk depending on your dog's energy and needs. Afternoons are calm; nap time, cuddles, or light play and we close the evening with a final walk and wind-down. Feeding schedules, medication routines, and special care instructions are always followed to the letter. On weekends, I'm even more available we're talking extended park visits, longer walks through the neighborhood, and plenty of one-on-one time. I take on a limited number of clients at a time so every dog gets individualized attention, never just a number in a rotation.

My pet-friendly condo is set up with your dog's comfort in mind. I have dedicated space for sleeping, eating, and playing, and an outdoor dog park within walking distance for exercise and socialization throughout the day. The building is dog-friendly, the neighborhood is extremely walkable, and I'm home all day to provide constant supervision and companionship. I follow your dog's existing routine as closely as possible; same feeding times, same sleep schedule, same commands you use at home. Consistency reduces anxiety and helps dogs feel safe in a new space I've learned. I keep all areas clean, safe, and free of hazards, and I never leave a dog unsupervised in an unfamiliar environment.
