Pet care experience
Lifelong Dog Lover & Owner
I have been caring for dogs and managing multi-dog households since I was 18 years old. My lifelong experience as a dog owner has given me a deep understanding of canine behavior and how to truly connect with each pet. Growing up, I was the neighborhood dog walker by choice, often spending my free time bonding with local pups over the fence. That early passion quickly turned into trust, with neighbors granting me yard access to keep their dogs company. I am comfortable working with dogs of all ages and sizes, from energetic puppies to seniors who need a gentler touch. Whether it's managing the dynamic of a multi dog home, administering medications, or simply providing plenty of playtime and affection, I treat every animal with the same love and care as my own.

Joey is the most reliable and trusting dog sitter anyone can ask for. He’s been pet sitting my yorkies for 10+ years. Not to mention that I have a geriatric yorkie with lots of needs and attention. I can trust that Joey will give him his daily vitamins, meds, and monitor him closely as my arthritis half blind 16 y.o lil old yorkie frequently falls 🥺. I also know my dogs will be safe, entertained, and stimulated on walks, parks, or beaches when under Joey’s care. Def 100/10 recommend!
I always feel so comfortable leaving my cat in the care of Joey! He checks in every day, and actually hangs out for a good length of time to make sure he is okay and happy. I know my fur baby is getting lots of love with Joey when I’m away <3
I love when Joseph looks after my kitty, Stella!! I always get pics and updates of how she’s doing (apparently she loves Avatar). He picks up after her, makes sure the box is clean, and food and water are clean and replenished. Once I return home after Joseph watches Stella, I always find mind place cleaned & tidied as well. He really goes the extra mile and makes me feel super relaxed while I’m on vacation AND when I return home. That’s a super power.
Joey has helped me with everything from daily walks and quick dog check ins to full house sitting. Most recently, Joey watched my two dogs while I was on a two week vacation. A high energy German Shepherd puppy and a senior Beagle who also still has a ton of energy. Joey handled them both with immense care, making sure they got plenty of outdoor time and was careful to feed them separately just as I requested. I always come home to happy pups! It was great to receive photo updates throughout my trip.

Schedule
Currently, I am doing pet care full time, which means I have a very flexible schedule. I can easily accommodate drop in visits, daily walks, or overnight stays throughout the week and on weekends to make sure your pets get the attention they need.

Safety, trust & environment
I’ve been looking after cats for 15+ years and know how to read their different personalities. I understand that some cats want to play, while others just want to be left alone, and I respect their space. I’m reliable when it comes to the daily basics—feeding on schedule, keeping the litter box clean, and making sure they have fresh water. If your cat is social, I’m happy to hang out and keep them company. If they are independent, I’ll just check in, handle their needs, and let them do their thing.

A typical day
A typical day can be tailored exactly to your dog's energy level. For active pups, we can head out for a hike, a trip to the beach, or a visit to the local park to burn off some energy. If your dog prefers a slower pace, we can stick to casual neighborhood walks and plenty of quiet time relaxing at home. I always make sure to balance physical activity with mental stimulation and lots of rest.
