I'm currently working from home remotely part-time, which gives me enough time to take care of a dog and have it by my side for most of the day.

I have a fenced yard. In the summer, we will let the dog out back frequently. My house is child safety proof with small gates between the upstairs and downstairs. I will have a designated area for thier food and water.

A typical day
I like to spend time with the dog early in the morning with a walk first thing when I get up. Then after breakfast, while at my computer i will spend time with the dog near me. At lunch we will go out for a walk and hang out in the back yard. If permitted by the owner I can take the dog to the dog park near by. In the evenings I will walk the dog again and then spend some more time relaxing. I have my wife that can also watch the dog if I have to go out.

My friends and family often ask me to dog sit their dogs when they go away on trips. I've taken care of boxers, golden retrievers, bulldogs, etc. I have also had my own dogs in the past. I live in a house with a nice big yard ! When I am given the responsibility of dog sitting I take it very seriously, I make sure the dog has enough food, water and is safe at all times.

Joseph and his girlfriend looked after our high energy Boston Terrier for four days and took such great care of him. From our first meeting Joseph was very caring and attentive to our little guy’s needs. I really appreciated Joseph sharing photos of their adventures out for walks and going to the park. Highly recommend.
